It’s the top 100 players for the 2026-27 season. Butler dropped because he will not be an elite player for the totality of the 2026-27 season. He’s still on the list because he will return at some point this season and when he does, they feel he will provide value as a high level player that will exceed what the guys below him provide. It’s not saying he’s worse than those guys that passed him. It’s saying he won’t be better for the 2026-27 season. No, they should not leave him off just because people can’t be bothered to read the intro to the columns.
