No Buss family, Stu missing a bunch of time and reducing his role, Kobe dead, Tanter dead. Lakers feeling real weird and foreign rn. Hell, even Bron is gone.

People dont talk enough about how important PA guys are. Lawrence, Baiamonte for Miami, and so on, are voices that always accompanied legendary moments from legendary players.

I personally fell in love with basketball with Olivier Sedra’s commanding voice accompanying LeBron’s highlights. “Llllllllebron……JAMES!!”

He had retired a few years ago and then came back. And then came back for a couple of years and then had to step away for health reasons and the re-retired this year. Sad, his voice will forever be ingrained in my head.
