The CBA states that a free agent who signs with an NBA team can’t be traded for three months or until December 15, whichever is later. Moreover, if a player if signed using Bird or Early Bird rights and his new deal meets any one of the following criteria he won’t be eligible to be traded until January 15:

Obviously he still has to consent to a trade but this seems to not be an issue for him.
