I love B miller but seeing him always wrapped up is worrisome. He’s a no doubt baller when healthy though.

Man, I knew he’d be between Ausar and Amen… but I was kinda hoping it’d be more 180-190 vs. 200.

Brandon Miller is my favorite player in the league. However, Amen 1. has playoff appearances 2. stays healthy 3. is a tippy top defensive player. Miller is obviously is a much better offensive player than Amen, and his defense is good, but 200 feels too rich.

Duren is going to get an aneurysm if guys who are much worse than him keep getting more money.

If Brandon gets the same \(208M as Amen, it’s wild that Wemby will only make about \)9M more a year than them. When Wemby is already a top 3 player in the league

It’s very obvious how many ppl in this thread didn’t watch the hornets when they were winning. There’s a reason they went on that winning run when Miller got healthy. He showed a lot of growth last season despite being injured and is a guy the team should definitely bet on even in spite of the Play in games.

I also don’t think $40m per year is as crazy as some of are making it seem with the hornets cap outlook.

Unbelievably funny to do hit pieces about how LaMelo is never healthy and then max Miller, a guy who has had multiple surgeries and isn’t efficient or a good defender.

This guy better keep getting better. Hornets are in a great position if he grows into a guy who can lead a playoff team and look a lot worse post-Lamelo if he sort of ends up a Wiggins archetype supportive player.

Hornets have no reason not to. If Miller ends up the lamelo route, it won’t be the killer people think it will because the hornets are back firmly in rebuild mode and will have several rookie contracts on their roster by the time the extension gets close to ending with all the draft picks they have, at which point they can just pay someone to take him with 1-2 years left if absolutely necessary. But their only real long-term pricey commitment is gonna be Kon. White and Naz won’t command fortunes if the hornets decide they want them long term.

That’s alot for a guy who probably at best is an all star replacement level player. 3 years in the league and his game doesn’t really jump out to me, i think he’s good but not 200 million good. But since they have Kon Knueppel on a rookie deal it’s not too bad. I could see in a couple years them moving Miller with those picks they have stashed to get a big time all star.
