For reference, there have been many much longer streaks of ABs without a triple, a few over 4000 ABs, but all of those players hit at least 1 triple in their career.

So Ruiz can always get himself off this list by hitting a triple at any point in the future.

It has been 2,740 at bats since Giancarlo Stanton has hit a triple. I wonder what the longest career drought without one has been.

None in his last 8 seasons, 2,170 at bats and the one he hit in 2018 was followed by 570 at bats without one (566 from 4/12/2018-9/29/2018, plus 4 at bats in the game following his triple).

2,170+570=2,740 triple-less at bats. It’s not his fault…
