I mean, I know he gets a lot of hate for how he handles a lot of things, but he got my friend who has been depressed and suicidal for nearly ~10 years to go to see a counselor and now he’s finally in therapy

I think maybe both? The point of most of these comments is that Duran has been ass this season, but he still has pulled off a bunch of pretty impressive stats.

Gonna be interesting to see if Duran or Anthony are the DH. Duran is the better fielder, but only by a bit.
To be fair, all the stats say romans a better fielder (i know how wonky it gets with fenway though). Duran takes some bad routes that turn easy outs into tough ones, but usually can make up for it with the speed. Romans probably got better instincts for left.
Duran has been very good this year in the field, last year I’d agree but he’s really done very well this year.

once gasper starts to cool down, that dh spot will be romans most nights going forwards from then. i don’t see duran getting benched with how reliable his glove is
All the reports are that Roman is going to be back Friday barring a setback.
I personally want them to tread very carefully with Roman post injury so wouldn’t mind him at DH and not potentially overextending himself in the field just yet, at least for September and then we reevaluate
