Would be really cool if holding Geonor’s sword allowed you to use wolf transformation and wolf skills as if you were using a talisman.
Hopefully they add Arbiter of Ash’s sword to his drop pool.
Hopefully we can have some form of transformation cosmetic for druid.

How? You wouldn’t add any new skills it just lets you use the existing wolf skills. Maybe give it a cool corrupted wolf mtx as well

yeah and it actually works pretty well for weapons that can be properly runeforged and runemastered
That was also a point I wondered. Depends on if they either keep the verisium runeforging mechanic in the game, or it could drop from his Citadel boss fight in Maps.
Surely they’d at least keep the unique runeforging in some fashion or another. That would be quite the extensive fix to unique viability to just throw out.
there’s no reason they remove content right now. there’s already not enough content as it is on release for them to cut down on
As others have said probably the Arbitter of ash, wich could have a unique skill where you perform the Arbitter’s flying slash or super fire beam if you have the sacraed flame equiped.
And I have two poe1 swords de that would be cool to see but I am not sure if they make it to poe2.
First choice would be Rakkiata’s dance 2nd choice Starforge/Voidforge, because I want to see how they would look on Poe2
I honestly think that void and starforge are too tied to the elder/shaper saga we went trough in poe1 for them to just show up in poe2.
Voidforge plays a major role lore-wise into why we had to fight the elder.
They’d probably remove the support gem if they were ever to reintroduce Rakiata’s sword.
why? we have tangletongue and garukhans. rakiatas will just be stronger than the gem. they’ll make the gem have a chance to invert or something.
Then what’s the sword gonna do if the inversion is going to the gem? It’s just another sword with flat damage and attack speed at that point.
no I’m saying they’ll nerf the gem to have a chance to invert. rakiatas sword will be 100% invert. similar to how it is in poe 1.

I haven’t played this running season yet, so I have no idea if Legendaries are still worse performance-wise because they lack the +Skill Level effects. Hopefully they can get close at least
They seem a lot more relevant this league thanks to runecrafting; unique weapons can be upgraded to have better stats and even additional affixes.
It should play Poem voice lines when you use special (in sequence)
With each stanza finisher having empowered slam.
