[Highlight] Tristan Thompson takes matters into his own hands
The fact that he didn’t even need to take the shot is what’s funny to me
Your center successfully brings the ball up the court after putting it behind his back not once, but twice? There’s absolutely a heave coming next.
Yeah that’s the confidence of a man who knows he won’t see the ball again tonight.
This clip and the one where drummond stands at the top of the key for 12 seconds, and does some bs euro step just to airball a layup are my favorite bloopers ever.
You got a link to that?
https://youtu.be/_2EObbRzOiw?si=lcZZZ5wFFNuQ0kOQ
Wasn’t a euro step but point still stands
That one always cracks me up. You can see the cogs turning in his head. “Uh, I have the ball. Team mates are moving. Gotta do the handoff. Missed the handoff. Pass. Nah, I’m a BASKETBALL PLAYER. I MAKE BASKETS.”
No, you don’t. Not like that.
Shouldn’t Big Val have been called for a three seconds violation?
Also, hilarious.
No 3 seconds when you’re guarding the ball handler
I gotcha, but Drummond is damn near at the three point line. 😅 gotta be the loosest form of defense I’ve ever seen.
So long as the defense was obviously in man-man, you could guard a guy sittimg at his own basket while sitting at your own basket and the 8 second violation for not bringing the ball past half court would get called instead of the 3 second one lol. Just the way the rule is written.
That’s some And-1 shit
This is amazing. I wouldn’t even describe that as a “layup” attempt, he gets to 6 feet away from the basket, has picked up his dribble and used his 1.5 steps, so he does… whatever that is. Incredible. Spectacular.
When the commentator says “I’m not sure what he was trying to do there”, that’s when you KNOW it’s bad lol
Why were they both Cavs at the time 😭
Andre Drummond is a certified legend when it comes to bloopers. I remember watching this one live. https://youtu.be/u9ylG_iIpcw?si=pKWUQZtFZmC4c8Ia
The video feed from behind the backboard at the 1 min mark showing both of their faces and then the disgust by Coby White was the chef’s kiss.
RIP Stacey King
Agreed. Watching games this upcoming season without hearing Stacey’s voice is going to suck.
At least he shot that with 0 hesitation
“It’s Brucie’s time to shine”
“I knew I shouldn’t have ate that popcorn”
Can of corn and a Diet Coke I’ll be alright
Look, it was definitely a worse scenario, but at least you can give JR Smith the benefit of the doubt that he just wasn’t aware of the clock. This… What the heck was TT doing?
He also wasn’t aware of the clock he thought there was less time on the shot clock
Well if he wasn’t so busy having to stare at the ground because he can’t dribble he could’ve taken a glance at the shot clock lol.
There was only 5 seconds left by the time he got to half court so the heave was sorta justified. Worse than that was ignoring whichever open guard was to his left the whole time. Okoro, KPJ?
That one dickhead in 2k online when everyone keeps telling him to pass the ball
And then he keeps shooting every chance he gets and costs the team the game
It’s crazy to me that despite how terrible this play was, he would destroy me and every single person I know if we were to get on the court and this is probably still true if we were generally the same size
Holy shit I didn’t even notice that this was crunch time in a close game
The Sixers won this game 98-97 while also getting 3 offensive rebounds after this play. Thompson was on the floor for that entire 2:40 too.
If you were of similar size and played 1 on 1, he would cross anybody here like prime Allen Iverson
i don’t know about this one….
Yeah he’d still demolish you. Lowlights and all
Oh he’d definitely demolish me.. I’m not disputing that! That form though…
Honestly was a highlight until he shot from the logo for no reason.
LMAO Sexton flopping like in 2k when your teammate takes a dumb ass shot.
Also someone needs to add Jim Ross commentary to this like that hilarious Josh Smith brick video lol.

You have to respect the audacity
If he had hit the shot, this would be an all time play
One of the all time brain turned off sequences
Hahahahahahahaha & he’s still on a roster after this? wow.
“Can’t BUY a bucket”
At least it wasn’t an airball
What a baller <3
Kurt Zouma vs Ajax
“Highlight”?
carlton.gif waiting for that ball to go in
Imagine if Lebron had to carry this team. Wait…
Dubai basket global ambassador Tristan Thompson
“Tristan brings championship pedigree, global credibility, and a clear understanding of what it takes to build a winning culture”
I didn’t know what to expect and somehow my expectations were exceeded anyway
Pass to the wide open guard? Nah I’m going behind the back and heaving it.
I’ve been playing too much 2k, I thought his teammate flopped when he fell
Bro got stuck in the shot animation and forgot how to cancel
Brooo there was so much time
This is what can happens when your organisation has Lebron leave then your guard rotation consists of a rookie Garland, Collin Sexton & Jordan Clarkson.
I believe this was the year they had Tristans favourite coach, John Beilein.
I looked at the time left and the score when the buzzer didn’t get off. And then I looked at thr time left again. Wtf.
Are we gonna Ignore Sexton Flopping?
This is hysterical. What year was this game?
