[Highlight] LeBron James goes baseline for the jam
“This is just bad defense”
The fuck are you going to do against prime LeBron driving when he wants to score?
Literally lol. Dude was gonna dunk regardless of who was there
It’s either get out the way or get put on a poster
Foul lol
And it still didn’t work lol
LeUnstoppable
Mama there goes that man
Kawhi
Man he really used to abuse the Raptors
He used to abuse everyone
It’s LeBronto for a reason
Mamba Mentality
That guy probably only had a couple years left in him
Hopefully this fuckery won’t last much longer
“Up up and away” “The Kid From Akron” “He Washed Ain’t He”
What year was this?
16
So not quite Prime Lebronto but not too far off
He was getting there
He was a little more athletic in 2016 than 2018 IMO, but less polished offensively.
Honestly makes me a little sad that you have to ask that. You could show me any LeBron highlight from those playoffs and I’d be able to tell you the correct year without hesitation
With all due respect, not all of us are THAT autistic
I could prob identify the year based on the teammates but one clip is next level lol
To be fair this is an easy one. We only ever played the Raptors in the conference finals in 2016. 2017 and 2018 series were both in the semis.
as a cavs fan, I was drunk 75% of those playoffs
I’m trying, Jennifer
who was Richard Jefferson feelin like 😭
LeBron’s dunks have always been state of the art. It’s like watching a Viking swing an axe on a wooden log. The one against the Bulls (James Johnson) was just brutal.
Also, seeing a stoic Timofey Mozgov jump off the bench and wild out after that dunk makes me happy and it should make you happy as well.
James Johnson dunk is my favorite NBA dunk of all time. The gap he gets on the first step and the bounce is crazy. Head at the rim and full baptism.
“I cocked that joint back and banged on em!”
It’s so satisfying when the whistle is blown at the same time as a sick dunk.
The question is what the hell was RJ doing
Lebronto Years
Bron’s a god damn freight train
Basically Zion Williamson with shooting, better handle, GOAT level ball IQ and passing, and almost immune to injury.
Most fun year of basketball ever for me
Right, miss those days
Thanks for the reminder
All those teams Lebron smashed more than the 3 times he beat the Raps in the playoffs and we take the hit cause it sounds good smh.
If only Lebrindiana had that Lebronto flair.
I think you guys took the hit because getting swept as the first seed by that 2018 Cavs team was kind of unthinkable before the series. And Indiana put up some pretty decent resistance against LeBron during the PG era and also took that same 2018 team to seven.
Indiana was probably not the best example but the Hawks also used to get dominated and swept by LeBron and they were always amongst the top 2 seeds
I know the argument, I just don’t think it’s that good.
For example, you’re like, “it was unthinkable for Lebron to sweep a first seed” like he didn’t do exactly that to ATL a couple years before the Raps lmao.
Then to your other point, IND was just one of many teams but 4 losses and 0 wins including a sweep is domination.
You got 3 sweeps against the Wizards, 3 sweeps against the Hawks (including the starting lineup of 1st seed all stars), Indys 4 losses, 5 series wins against Boston, 4 against the Bulls, 3 against the Pistons (including 2 sweeps), AND MORE.
But you know, 2 sweeps and 1 6-game loss? LEBRONTO.
I definitely only became LeBronto during his second stint as he was midway thru beating them out the playoffs the 3rd year in a row. They were the team he faced the most during his 2nd Cavs stint so thats why it stuck
Lmao everyone’s, “this is why” are all bad 😂
Lebron beat the Celtics in his 2nd stint more than the Raps and the Raps lost to him the same amount of times (2) as a bunch of other teams lol.
Celtics lost the same amt of times as the raps but the point stands 😂
Again, it’s because Lebronto sounds so fucking good.
You really hate that nickname. The ring doesn’t make up for it?
I hate the reasoning for the nickname but it’s a damn good one.
Our ring had nothing to do with Lebron. If you’re asking about my satisfaction level with my org, I’m plenty satisfied.
No, they take the hit because those raptors teams would look really good against other teams all year long but LeBron played like a damn god against them, it felt inevitable. It was bad enough that people started to retroactively consider them frauds because it was a preferable narrative to shit on them than give props for dominating what had all year seemed like a very good squad.
Definitely didn’t look like a damn god against the hawks/celtics/pacers/wizards/bulls/pistons and every other team he played during his time lmao.
Most of these teams had similar narratives going for them before ultimately getting slapped by Lebron because that’s how nba discourse works.
We didn’t get swept as the 1st seed with 5 all-stars, we weren’t one of the teams that went completely winless, we didn’t lose to him the most, and we weren’t ever even expected to actually win. We were simply one of the better teams in the east for a 3-year window (in his decade plus long run) that rhymed with his name the best lmao.
The beginning of LeBronto years
this shit means something to me dawg fuck😭😭😭
that defender’s kid is now old enough to get dunked on by lebron
Poor mozgov
He reminds me of jazz musicians who put out terrible albums
I think this is on NBA tv for free
Blatant
great commentators know when to stop talking. love the pause after the dunk here
Man, Cavs LeBron was so much fun to watch
My biggest reason to hate on LeBron is the fact he refused to do the dunk contest. Robbed us of some all time great contests and delegitimized the event so we’ll never see a superstar compete again
lmao. they missed him like 3 times
Alright now LeBron queens,
Explain how that wasn’t a travel
k thanks
Lebronto
I love me some LBJ. Personally he’s my GOAT.
But I wish the NBA would update their rules and call that a travel. Not to diminish this ridiculous dunk as he’s educating Toronto again… but because we’ve loosened the rules too much in the past 2-3 decades.
Which part do you think should be a travel?
tbf he does pick up his left pivot foot to replace it but thats hard to catch real time
Gathering the loose ball at 0:11 his right foot is his pivot foot takes the step beyond the arc with the left (officially establishing the left as the pivot). Then he squares up both feet behind the arc, then does a jab/step with the left foot towards the baseline.
Logically no one can gather a loose ball a full step (essentially 3 feet) inside the 3 point arc while going away from the basket… then being able to make a legal step and dribble.
But it’s the NBA and this is extremely minor compared to what they all get away with now.
He takes 2 dribbles then 1, 2. With no gather step allowed this still isn’t a travel. I get your sentiment though
ok
Yes
Meh
You’re not required to comment or watch lol. If you want strictly Knicks highlights there’s a subreddit for that.
I know i don’t have to
