Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole combined for 63 points in Game 2 of the Warriors’ first-round 2022 playoff series against the Denver Nuggets.
Poole is pretty polarizing but people are going to forget just how wild of a progression path he was on. He literally was a mini steph out there
You can clown him as much as you want for a ton of legitimate reasons, but 90% of every player to ever go thru the league wishes they could grab a bag like he did. And honestly, he’ll get a more appropriate contract next and be in the league for a good while longer, I think.
He’s riding the bench on one of the worst teams in the league. Anyone still at the Poole party is delusional
“was” = past tense
You said he “is” polarizing. I don’t know how true that is. If it is, then one side of this is clearly not paying attention.
You might want to look up the definition of polarizing buddy
Why? You can argue I’m wrong about whether he is polarizing or not. But if you want to say I don’t know what polarizing means, then you have some work to do.
I think getting salary dumped by one bad team to be benched by another bad team is a pretty strong indication that there’s no serious group of people who think you’re very good.
i WILL die on the jordan poole hill. the punch fucked the franchise in unfathomable ways
The punch somehow punched the skills out of JP. JP was on track to be an all star with Golden State and maybe the person to take over for Steph. The very next season after the punch he’s averaging 10 points and unplayable in the playoffs. Sad turn of history.
Being the 3rd/4th wheel on Golden State was always easy. Wiggins, Poole, and Harrison all got paid from it. All were trash after they left.
Wiggins has been solid for the heat. Very similar production to his Warriors years.
Every time people say that Kerr won’t play someone if they can’t defend and rebound, I point to Jordan Poole. Kerr will play anyone if they are actually good at something on the basketball court, and he’ll find some way to work around their weaknesses as long as you follow his plan.
Jordan Poole was the most confident young human being I’ve ever seen
I miss this warriors team.
That’s a cold but goofy cover
Draymond was right
Steph Curry coming off the bench.
