I always thought it was something of a misnomer for Marion. For a long time I used to wonder why he even got that nickname. Then I realized it was just a cool nickname that wasn’t particularly accurate, and that’s how these things often go. The name itself is cool, but Shawn Marion didn’t move like that to me.
