Assuming there are no new additions to the Miami Roster this offseason, it is: | PG: Davion Mitchell/Dru Smith | SG: THJ/Klay | SF: Wiggins/Jovic | PF: Giannis/Portis | C: Bam/No Backup Center | How do you rank this roster with other Eastern Teams going into the season?
More context, Davion Mitchell is regarded as one of the toughest guard defenders in the league by current players, with shoutouts from players like LeBron James Sr (he sees Davion as Bronny’s best archetype). Dru Smith was top 5 in league deflections off the bench, with a great +/-. Phenomenal Spo type player.
SG is unknown who will start, but its between Klay and THJ (Both around 38-41% 3pt shooters).
SF is Wiggins (the statistical BEST SGA defender (thunder fans can testify) and one of the best 3&D players in the league after a resurgence last year. Jovic had a very tough season last year, so he is a question mark. Also, Pelle Larsson (shouldve put him instead of jovic in the title) who will probably be top 5 in minutes played on this roster.
PF of course is Giannis, with Jovic backing him up (he’s more of a combo 3/4/5, but it depends? Spo is still messing with it). Portis is also a 41% 3pt shooter. Fontechhio also slots into this role, with around a 38-40% 3pt.
Right now, Bam is the only real center on the roster.
How do you personally see this roster stacked up with other NBA East rosters?
