How are you guys feeling about the opening game vs the knicks? I’m visiting boston during late October and want to visit the game vs the knicks. I’ve found tickets on ticketswap for BAL 329 or 318 for around $350 each and was wondering how these sections are regarding overall vibe and if the price is sort of worth it

I just posted my section 316 tickets for 345 a piece, after the TM fee it comes out to like 430 or so (fuck TM 😤, screwing over all sides)

Either way, 318 is sideline, looking at the bench. If I’m not mistaken it’s the first section before the corner turn.

They’ll be great seats, great view, and those corner seat guys next to you get pretty loud. They seem to save a few bucks on tickets and slam beers instead, lol

Depends how much of a premium you’re willing to pay to see the Knicks. Those same seats vs a random team are usually $80-$100. They’re not bad (no bad seats in the Garden), good vibes in the balcony because that’s what most normal fans can afford, but it’s not like they’re close to the court.

Personally no way in hell I’m paying $350 to see… Brunson and KAT. Whereas maybe I would to see the Sixers with LeBron + JB’s return. However, the game should probably be more intense than a normal regular season game so maybe a cool experience. There will be lots of Knicks fans there.

Oh that does change my answer! I usually go to a few games a year, so I’m less likely to drop that much on a single game. If it’s your once chance to see a Celtics game, I think that’s much more reasonable. And it is a premier match up, it will be much more exciting than a game vs the Hornets or Pelicans. The Knicks are excellent, it’s a huge rivalry, everyone will be motivated to play hard (way less likely any stars sit it out), and Brunson is also probably really cool to see play even if I hate him and his big stupid head.

I usually sit in the balcony (not those sections specifically but it’s all pretty similar) and have a great time, just check the seat view to get an idea of what you’re paying for.

Where are you seated on the balcony? I noticed the middle sections were quite expensive, but these a bit more on the side should still give a great view for a somewhat reasonable price

Honestly looking at the map 329 and 318 are pretty great, I usually try to go somewhere in those areas/similar. You just don’t want to be right behind the rim (which even then I’ve done and had a good time)
