I’m a John Wall stan, so I like this list because I think people even now don’t remember how good he was, and he will for sure be lost in time. What he did in that stretch was amazing.

Also: Trae Young is on quite a heater, and if he continues his pace he may beat Oscar Robertson’s number. But it’s interesting the top 3 guys are the people you’d expect. Even more interesting that only 9 people ever have done this. Averaging 20 pts and 10 assists is hard. Chris Paul only has a 3 year stretch of 20-10. Steven Nash didn’t average 20-10 a single time. Neither did Stockton.

Also kinda highlights how it really doesn’t correlate strongly with ultimate team success (i.e., making or winning the Finals). Mostly just tells us how ball dominant most of those players had to be if they were not only dishing the ball that much but also scoring.

The ²⁰⁄₁₀ Point Guard was almost entirely a mid 80’s to mid 90’s thing. If you look at the time period, there were a lot of other point guards that were fairly close and it was just a weird artifact of the playstyle then.

From his BR page, he only did it for 3 consecutive years (1989–91) or at most 4 if you choose to round up his 1992 scoring of 19.7 to 20.

Similarly with Oscar. And probably others too. Did you just ask AI to make up your list without checking the list was actually correct?
