One of Bird’s 1985 games against Atlanta was pretty devastating. The greatest game performance is the greatest finals performance. Although a 4-0 or 4-1 ending result might be a dominating performance, it doesn’t have the urgency or pressure. So it must be a 6 or 7 finals game. And on that day, the opponent should be healthy, no suspension, and no referee interference. So we can start there.

So find a 40-50 performance among this, maybe a 30pt 20r game(an olajuwon game maybe). Maybe its the Giannis game, or an Olajuwon game.

Idk about the greatest but it really was insane watching Bron’s 48 Special in real time. Like it ain’t just the 48pts. It’s that he scored 25 straight for his team, 29 of the last 30, hit the game winner, and truly did just largely carry that game offensively for the Cavs. It’s one of those kind of performances where it just seems like a player ain’t gonna let his team lose.

On April 24, 1994, David Robinson scored a career-high 71 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on the final day of the regular season. He also had 14 rebounds. He needed those points to beat Shaq to win the scoring title. His previous career high was 52.
