As a neutral watcher, that first sequence with the Lakers-Rockets was absurd to watch live that I felt bad for the Rockets fans.
I was watching with some friends and the celebration when that shot went in scared my dog awake lmao
I had a feeling that shot was going in. And this kind of sequence was repeated by the Spurs too. Not exactly, but blowing their lead in a won game.
That whole Knicks run was crazy with all those crazy comebacks
I had a dog in that fight though because I was rooting for Brunson (only him), but yeah for sure. Was hella entertaining for me. We’ll see if that was Wemby’s Bad Boy Pistons moment and just obliterate the league next season. I feel like the East might be the more compelling watch for me after my team of course.
That first clip was pure cinema, and IRRC this happened shortly after a crucial mistake on LeBron’s end, great recovery on his part
He was completely gassed by the end of the fourth. Had a bad turnover and then one time he didn’t get back on defense. But I think the Smart steal and FTs before this really gave him a second wind with hopium lol that’s how he found the energy to pick up Reed Sheppard full court and hit the three.
Yup leading up to this you could tell father time was getting Bron’s ass, then he hustles and makes this shot, just amazing
Yeah I remember after that TO when he couldn’t catch up to Sengun on the fast break and I was like damn. This is the most tired I’ve seen Bron look. Like he legitimately couldn’t get his legs to sprint.
It won’t be remembered as fondly as other years but that lakers team really had a scrappy underdog feel that made the win so good. Luka and Reaves down, everyone and their mama thought lakers would go down in a sweep. Even up 2-0, when Durant was announced to play they still had doubters. Somehow LeBron being the first option, kennard running point for the first two games, smart locking down the defensive end and the bench really stepping up secured the bag.
Not even a Bron fan, I’m an MJ GOATer all day; but damn if that wasn’t impressive as shit. Dude knew he was gonna drain it before he pump faked.
