Boki Nachbar-Karl Malone incident. Malone undercuts a dunking Boki. Boki then blocks Malone, who gets triggerred.
Malone must have thought Nachbar was twelve the way he got under him
I hate Malone with a passion. I was arguing with loser bitches that Barkley is much better than this pedophile and some loser with Sixers flair was arguing with me. I don’t know why anyone gives a shit about Malone. All he did was sit in the dunker spot and put up shitty bunnies that Stockton handed him.
Malone is a piece of shit. This is also just hilariously false. He was at the very worst on Barkley’s level, and was an absolute monster of a player (and a person!). Plenty of people played with John Stockton. Only one is the 3rd leading scorer in NBA history. We don’t need to rewrite history and make shit up just because he’s a garbage human.
Nah. The Dream Team sorted them out - head to head, week after week. Charles was better.
Show me some actual highlights of Malone vs Barkley. I watched Malone and Barkley in their primes, Malone put up good counting stats because the whole offense was centered around throwing the ball to him 3 ft away. But his game was ugly dogshit, just like he is.
Imagine being such a loser that you go on Reddit and stump for a pedophile.
Brother you do not become the number 3 all time scorer without being exceptional. Yes he is a weirdo pedo asshole but you cannot say he did not have game.
I don’t like Malone. I haven’t liked him since the late 80s. But you are totally wrong. He was a machine. He ran the pick and roll to perfection. He was one of the best screeners of all time. He had good touch and was better at positioning himself in the paint than probably anyone else in the history of the NBA.
>All he did was sit in the dunker spot and put up shitty bunnies that Stockton handed him.
He was much more than this as a player.
Malone was a better player than Barkley, that’s unfortunately true. Also Charles is BFFs with Malone so using him as a heroic counter is a bit ironic lol
He was not. Barkley was a better outside shooter, a way better ball handler, had better post moves, was a better passer and a better rebounder. Malone was more durable, kept his athleticism longer and played in a system for almost all his career that juiced his counting stats.
Saw both and even had (and won my league) Malone in fantasy in 97. Nothing you said is wrong
Better post moves is debatable, Malone was a monster there, too. Malone was also a far better defender, and was one of the best roll guys ever obviously.
Plus calling him out for the team’s system doesn’t really make much sense - the Jazz stuck to that system in large part because Malone was so good at it. Teams build around their best players.
I think it’s close. Anyone saying it’s clear to either dude is exaggerating.
I just disagree with you about post moves. He could score from the post because of his strength, but I think probably 75% of his points were scored off of dunks or layups from being a roll man or jumpers from pick and pops. He didn’t go solo against his man in the post nearly as often as Barkley and not nearly as well. He did not have good footwork, he never developed the ability to manipulate his man with fakes, and he was not great shooting contested baskets.
As for the system, I think it is true that they picked the system that worked best for him, but that is true of almost every star who has a competent coach. But they played that style in part because Malone would not have been nearly as effective in another one. He could not do what Olajuwon, Ewing, Barkley or Robinson did, which is reliably make a basket for himself one on one, or at least not at their level. He wasn’t terrible at it, he just wasn’t elite like those guys were. So yeah the pick and roll was best for him, but the issue is that he could only function as a great player that one way. When teams had time to prepare for the Jazz and were able to disrupt what they wanted to do, he became very far from an MVP caliber player. This is why you see such a huge falloff for Malone in the playoffs relative to someone like Barkley.
Malone saw his TS% go from .577 in the regular season to .526 in the postseason, and his WS/48 go from .205 to .140. Barkley on the other hand had his TS% go from .612 in the regular season to .584 in the playoffs (so both a smaller decline and his playoff TS% was higher than Malone’s regular season TS%) and his WS/48 go from .216 to .193. I think the reason for this was that if a play was busted Barkley could make a shot for himself. He could do it in the post, he could drive to the basket, and he could shoot long distance (better than most power forwards back then anyway). Meanwhile most years Malone wasn’t even playing at an All-Star level in the playoffs.
As for defense, you are right. Except for early in his career Barkley’s athleticism did not make up for his height well enough for him to protect the rim against other power forwards. And when his athleticism really went in Houston he couldn’t stay in front of small forwards.
I just disagree with you about post moves. He could score from the post because of his strength, but I think probably 75% of his points were scored off of dunks or layups from being a roll man or jumpers from pick and pops.
I suppose that’s fair - Barkley’s game was more built around that whereas the Jazz offense under Sloan had a lot more ball movement. Though I would say you’re probably underrating Malone’s post bag.
However as you’re bringing up the pick and pop, I’d dispute your earlier statement that Barkley was a better shooter because Malone was lethal in the midrange, too. And obviously neither were three point specialists. Granted Malone likely had better looks, but middies weren’t as big a part of Barkley’s game.
As for the system, I think it is true that they picked the system that worked best for him, but that is true of almost every star who has a competent coach. But they played that style in part because Malone would not have been nearly as effective in another one.
I mean sure, but using it as a point against him makes no sense even given that. He was played in a system that suited his strengths and it was very successful. Penalizing him for that makes no sense to me. You could argue Barkley was more versatile sure, but using the fact that the Jazz found a system that worked really well with Malone and stuck to it as a point against him doesn’t really check out imo.
I mean this has all been argued ad nauseum, and my point is that it’s a pretty close discussion. No arguments with either being ahead, but it just isn’t clear cut.
Seriously, show me actual highlights of Malone. There are none. because his game was dog shit. He put up bunnies 4ft from the rim.
Malone was better dawg.
Bostjian Nachbar clips in 2026 let’s go
He was nice for my Nets way back. I remember watching this man light it up from 3 when I was like 9 years old
Then do Zan Tabak! NBA Live 96 GOAT.
Rik Smits and Zan Tabak was a fun duo
I liked Wesley Person, sniper
Ah yes, Zan Tabak, one of the players of the legendary Jugoplastika along with Kukoc and Radja. I was a bit young to remember, but I remember hearing about that throughout my childhood.
I went to Jersey for a couple of games in 2007, Boki had a whole section of fans, it was like a 100 people. I was thoroughly delighted.
It’s not the worst thing Karl Malone has ever done.
Here I am, commenting on upvote 12, if I upvote it will be 13 but I’m better than Karl Malone
I downvoted you back to 12 just for consistency ✊
Smh no respect. Should’ve stopped at 11 to show respect to the Mailman.
Am I tripping or was the block not even close to a foul?
Ya know what was foul though? When Malone raped that 12 year old girl.
That looked like a block.
Lakers whistle.
Not close
Clean block
I wouldn’t have called it.
loser pedophile bitch gets stuffed by the slavGOAT
Boki wouldve been really nice in the 2020s
Jesus Yao was big. He makes Malone look so much like a child, I’m surprised Malone didn’t try to fuck himself.
Yao’s calves were thighs.

incredible woosh, he did it intentionally AND PLAYED OUT THE JOKE
Hate Karl Malone. Theres not enough of these kinds of highlights in this sub shitting on him. I need more
glad jordan made this pdf ringless.
Truly the GOAT
Never realized that Malone played both with 13 and 11.
And 12. Years old, that is.
Ummm, that’s the joke, I think.
I have zero recollection of this but I appreciate the share. I lowkey thought Bostjan had a nice game; he had a moment in Jersey during the Carter years.
As for the play in question, it looked like Malone thought he might jump to contest. Then when he realized Bostjan was bringing some heat so he opted for the cheap & dirty alternative (the intentional undercut). He was assessed a common foul.
Ironically, this was Malone’s best playoff game by far (30 points, 13 rebounds). I forgot when the knee was reaggravated but he never even hit 20 for the remainder of that postseason.
Malone was thankfully able to refocus on his true passion in the next round by quite possibly shortening Fred Hoiberg‘s life with a knee to the chest for daring to draw an honest charge and getting ejected taking shots at Darrick Martin’s skull in garbage time for setting a routine pick.
It looked like Malone was pushed into that (or got tangled up with, on second look) by Steve Francis? He certainly looked off balance (and the commentator seemed to say so).
Not that Malone wasn’t a dirty player, he absolutely was, but there are lots of other better examples of that imo.
Bostjan Nachbar OWNED the pedophile lmaoooo
Chasing after Boki like he was a 13 year old.
So glad Malone never won a title. That dirty fuck elbowed Isiah Thomas so good he needed over 40 stitches!
Karl Malone loved lil girls, beanie babies, and playing dirty basketball
I just want to give a resounding FUCK KARL MALONE.
You’ll do nuhtin’
Used to hate the Bulls but still rooted for them against this POS

NBA playoffs are the best
Weird hearing Al Michaels call basketball
Malone was such a bitch. Dude loved his little fadeaway but his giant ass always too scared to drive
Malone is a loser. He had sex with and fathered a child with a 13 year old girl. Punk Malone all day.
God I hate Karl Malone.
This the same Karl Malone that’s into children?
Ah, human trash Karl Malone
fuck Karl Malone
Kobe and Malone the best duo!!!!
clean Block by Nachbar
The Boston snack bar was quite solid. Gerald wallace jumped over him once
Without Stockton, Malone is just a pdf file.
Mr. Stockton can find someone else to pass the ball to and the league doesn’t have to protect Malone.
