My bald goat
The most underrated player of all time
i get so many confused looks when i say he’s my favorite player of all time
Really ? besides the flopping peak Manu was one of the most entertaining players of all time, heck even when he was past his prime he still was
dudes game was entertaining, had elite handle, ball IQ, flair for passing and was clutch
And his competitiveness was top tier. His hustle and will to compete was elite
He has 4 rings and he’s in the hall of fame.
The most underrated 4ring winning hof’er of all time
The dude came off the bench. He was supposed to be the bench spark plug and how many bench spark plugs do you remember?
The fact that you label him a “bench spark plug” proves the underrated point.
How many “bench spark plugs” outplay MVPs in the NBA finals?
You’re not really making the point that you think you are. He was literally a bench spark plug that helped the spurs keep the scoring going when the other team sat some starters and allowed the guard rotation to stay fresh. It’s something that a lot of teams copy to this day, like the Thunder and Jared McCain or the Spurs and Dylan Harper, though those guys will eventually become starters with enough time. With team success those guys will get their flowers too.
Dylan Harper is a rookie who probably will be a max / all nba level guy
Ginobli was coming off the bench when he could easily be the n1 guy on many teams in the league
He was an All NBA level player for years but his body just couln’t handle the minute load (and they had to start defensive specialists to hide Parker)
HOFer just means like top 150. Manu’s more like top 30 in terms of actual impact. That’s why he’s underrated.
Alright just jumped from Underrated to overrated lol he is not a top 30 all time player
Yes, and he’s way better then what people remember him to be, ESPECIALLY compared to one of his former teammates who shared the backcourt with him
Manu’s advanced stats were crazy due to his Moreyball shot selection, passing, and defense yeah
Got a gold medal in the 2004 Olympics in a run that included a win over Team USA. That is the rarest of rarefied air.
Manu got a putback dunk on 1.7% of Kawhi Leonard’s misses that season
That nets line up was nasty
R/NBA users:

I remember watching this game and this moment, was disappointed my Nets lost but it was expected… that dunk tho? That dunk was a moment and it was beautiful to see.
I pulled a muscle putting on my shoes today.
Had a chance to go to this game and didn’t.
Still regret it terribly.
Oh mama! I miss Bill Land calling games
