Quick Reminder that we may have two Wemby vs Jokic games this month, starting in 4 days

Jokic already joined his team a few days ago and should play the two friendly games.

We know for sure that Wemby will play the 2 world cup qualifier games later this month vs Slovenia and Sweden, but it’s very likely that he’ll also play the 2 friendly games before that vs Serbia.

So, if nothing goes wrong, we’ll get a back to back Wemby vs Jokic. First game in Belgrade, Serbia the 20th, second game in Orléans, France the 23rd.

Gobert will also play, so I wonder what France will do; play 2 bigs, or rotate Gobert and Wemby. The Twolves vs nuggets playoff series might give some ideas to the French coaching staff.

Anyway, these will def be fun games to watch.

yeah that’s what I’m curious about too. They could run 2 bigs with gobert on jokic and wemby roaming on the perimeter, but the last time they tried that it didn’t go that well. Wemby was younger though, so maybe it’ll be different now

Wemby leading France to 2028 Olympic Gold would weigh heavily in his basketball accomplishments. That means a lot more than winning an NBA Championship imo.

And he’s got a good shot with LeBron, Steph and KD being old af and probably will not play.
