He was by far my favorite player to watch in the playoffs. Instant buckets whenever he checks in, gets better under pressure, plus the fact that half of these highlights are on defense…spurs could legitimately have two top 5 players in a few years if he and Wemby stay healthy.
It was even more pronounced because the rest of the Spurs absolutely looked like a young team that was cracking under the pressure. So many boneheaded plays, especially during big moments. Harper was the only one you could trust to go out there and handle the ball.

That November schedule (starts with road games with Nuggets and Suns, 3 B2Bs, at Lakers/vs Spurs, 2 days off before the B2B vs OKC, and then 2 at Twolves as part of a 6 game road trip that includes Knicks and Philly before the 1st game back home vs Spurs again) is beyond brutal.
And with a new coach and system while needing to integrate Dame and Ja, it’s going to be surprising if they’re not last in the division to start December.
