Loved seeing the Big 3 sit on stage for Doc’s HOF speech.

Just like when they hugged at KG’s number retirement, my younger self was healed lol. Made even better by the fact that I was there for that game. (Sucked we loss though, but that JB dunk -> KG high-five was awesome. I wish KG came to our games.)

Hope JT and JB can makeup sooner than they all did. 😭💔 They accomplished so much at a young age and won a championship, man.

Some weird parallels between jaylen and kuminga now that I think about it.

Of course, kuminga kinda sucks. And Jaylen is a top 20 player and 95 percent of the reason he was traded is cos of the cap penalties

The same guy criticized Joe for last season. Tho. Which I feel is ironic in some ways. Joes Brown centric gameplan was incredible.

Interesting implications for the Celtics. Im very interested to see if they can replicate the Pacers model of success. Or if they go in a different direction. And how Joe will adapt this season.

Personally I was very happy when Joe experimented during the regular season. My problem was that all that experimentation just lead to a regimented tight lineup for the playoffs minus the “fuck you” game 7 starters. Joe seems to really believe in regression to the mean and sometimes playoff series just aren’t long enough for that

Overall, again, interesting season upcoming

I think Joe has showed a ton of creativity. He went something like 50 wins in his first year after being essentially shoved into his role and not getting any off-season

Tho yes, Zach Lowe who of course is greatly respected, also described the Jaylen trade as you did.Ultimately, maybe some of what Jaylen does might show up poorly in metrics, but is valuable when the sample size is only 7 as opposed to 82.

It’s like a battle of philosophies. And you have the Cavs who have made their bets, and the 6ers who obviously also made a bet. How does that play out versus our record
