I think he’s at least on the same level as Marion, Butler and Klay. They have other accolades that help, but he was considered a better player while playing if you look at All NBA.

Marion: 4x All Star, 2x All NBA Third Team
Butler: 6x All Star, 1x All NBA Second Team, 4x All NBA Third Team, 5x All Defense Second Team
Klay: 5x All Star, 2x All NBA Second Team (being on those Warriors teams is the majority of Klays case)
None of them really had HOF worthy careers based on individual accolades, but they’ll all be in because basketball standards are super low.

I enjoyed Amare’s game during his Suns years but the Basketball HOF has proven time again that anyone with a modicum of success or popularity can get in. He’s had a decent career but certainly not “Hall of Fame” worthy, cant even make an argument for non-NBA accolades.

Yea exactly. I would understand others getting in for their Olympics or FIBA achievements but he had none of those. His only accolades outside of the NBA was with the Israeli league, let’s be honest that doesn’t exactly scream HOF to anyone.
