He was also significantly better than Fisher was even in those Utah/GSW seasons, at no point was Fisher a significant threat to “get buckets” considering he maxed out at 13.3 PPG 4.4 APG in GSW. His stats are virtually identical from his best LA years and his years in GSW/Utah. He was lucky enough to be drafted by a Laker team that already had Shaq and Kobe, had Teague enjoyed the same luxury he’d also have rings right now.

He’s imagining himself “getting buckets” in those years, if he thinks he was a significantly better scorer on those teams. Plus he was only putting up 3-4 APG, with those 11-13 PPG seasons. Acting like he took a sacrifice to his stats to take a lesser role with LA is imaginary, they remained virtually identical.
