Just informing the outsiders that Buccees is an East Texas institution. The Buccees west of Austin in New Braunfels didn’t open until I was already in college in 2012. It’s not a cultural thing in the San Antonio region like HEB.
And even then if you stop at buccees on the way to somewhere, it’s not on the way to the grocery store. It’s like, on the way to Abilene
