Seattle for sure. I would be torn between Vancouver and Kansas City for the second one. KC is an amazing sports town but it would also be cool to have a second Canadian team again.

I live in Richmond, VA. I’d love to see a team here or in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach Hampton Roads region. 

We get ignored because we’re halfway between DC and Charlotte, but this region has a huge population and no real pro sports teams.

Seattle and I don’t really care who else gets a team.

I’ve always thought it was interesting that the NBA kinda lets college basketball have a monopoly in some cities. Like Louisville or Cincinatti should have an NBA team. I feel like if you put a team in Cincy, they would inherit a lot of fans from Lexington and Louisville.

If we are also getting Vegas and Seattle. Vancouver and Mexico City would be the biggest moves the league could make. With NBA Europe on the way. Making the original NBA the consensus number two sport in North America would be big. Hockey is going to be number one in Canada, Football is number one in the US, and Soccer is number one in Mexico.

The NBA needs to maintain its place as number two in America. Focus on expanding market share in Mexico and Canada while building the game globally. Give Western Canada and Mexico teams to rally around. After those two Kansas City and Montreal would be my next two picks for cities that could support teams and grow the league.

I think Vancouver didn’t really get a fair shake. With the populairty now it may go a lot better. But with Seattle coming back another northwest team is unlikely. I’ve always thought Montreal would be a great city for ball.

As a Canadian, I’d love another NBA team here. But really, which billionaire is interested in bringing a team to Vancouver? We’re looking at minimum $10 billion based on Seattle and Las Vegas costs. On top of that, Rogers is getting dated real fast. I don’t think there’s a large enough appeal for players to want to play in Vancouver. It’s already hard enough to land big names in Toronto.
