If this is accurate (and I have no reason to think it’s not) there’s no way the nba can avoid coming down on the Clippers like a hammer. Kawhi’s camp was smart to pull the “the only place he’d re-sign is Toronto” move because now the NBA has to consider further injury to the Raps. It makes it harder for the league to punish the player rather than come down on its richest owner. I’m sure Silver is sweating bullets over this.
