The DFW area is a very nice place to live as a rich person but more than that I imagine for her LA is probably a much more isolating place.  She probably built up some kind of support system there over the years in Dallas even if it wasn’t her favorite place in the world and to lose that and have to start completely over when her fiance is going to be on the road half the year is tough. Strong case for it is a sad state of legal systems when it comes to divorce. 

From what I read Slovenian law also requires that the couple live in a shared household for a certain period of time, so the fact that she wanted to live in Slovenia while he lived in the US may also have an impact. But who knows what the court will decide.

On the surface sure, it might be harder for him to be as present in their lives year round (during the season). On the other hand he has more than enough money for his kids to see him semi-regularly in season and this agreement impacts his whole off season.

Using his job against him seems so cruel and malicious because they both knew the deal going in. He is not some absent father. He was in the NBA when these children were conceived.

I get that you might just be discussing how the courts will handle the case, but the willingness to limit his access to his children doesn’t paint her in a good light.
