Lonnie Walker IV Drops 15 PTS In The 4TH QTR Of Lakers Game 4 W! | May 8, 2023
This is the reason why bench players should be always ready.
He’s a good guy who started his career being coached by Pop, the ultimate “Be ready” kind of coach. If Pop felt like his starters weren’t giving it all they had, he’d throw in the end of bench guys and have them finish the game, even that meant benching Manu, Tony, or Duncan. Thats the mentality he was taught. Lonnie was loved in San Antonio, still is.
You’reGoddamnRight.gif
Also shows you how good an end of bench nba player is. Most of those guys that aren’t there for nepo reasons could score 20 any night if given the opportunity.
as someone who watched Lonnie Walker IV every game when he joined the Euroleague, its just the kind of player LW4 is.
I’ve never seen a more inconsistent guy on a querter to quarter basis. He would be MJ for 1 quarter, suck ass for the next one. Every quarter was a coinflip.
The dude averaged a bit under 20ppg in his first year here as the #1 guy.
He did that by averaging like 14ppg in the first half and 4-5 in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
wait lonnie really dropped 15 in the 4th?
warriors dynasty ended by lonnie walker
For better or worse LeBron has no ego when it comes to giving the ball up in crunch time in the playoffs to a teammate with a hot hand.
Always runs the best play
Him forcing players to shoot is the funniest thing
I remember he mad at kcp in the bubble because he pass an open shot
He did it with dloe recently passed him the ball and told him to shoot it
Probably gonna happen again lmao. I wonder if nba players get angry when they get the ball in clutch moments.
Bron to Rui: Swing that shit!
Bron hasn’t gotten a post-Lonnie ring yet…
Same playoffs he let Reaves close Game 1 against Memphis.
op had the highlight package ready to go as soon as lonnie signed lol. i support it, rep your guy!
Lonnie has got this game on repeat at his house at all times.
Laker legend
this was such bs lol
Hands down my favorite fan moment since the bubble.
Warriors and getting smoked by a random bench guy. Name a more iconic duo
Same but lakers
Didn’t he not get signed after this?
Went to the Nets
Lonnie absolutely cooked Steph that game
That was 3 YEARS ago??? I remember watching that live and it didn’t feel like that long
“The Lonnie Walker game”
That game made me so happy. Loved when he was with the team. Was always a fan of Lonnie.
I’M OLD AF
I cannot believe this was 3 years ago.
On every bench, on every team, there is a guy that knows they could have this impact if they just got the chance to cook.
imagine if he hit that ankle breaker shot too, wouldve been such a “damn, its his time” moment
I never understood why Ham never put Tristan on Jokic until the very end. It was obvious Lakers needed more size in that Denver series.
Darvin Ham coached circles around Kerr in that series
I’ve never been so mad at a player who until moments before I didn’t know existed.
Karma farming like no other
There are better ways to karma farm than Lonnie Walker highlights…
Because he just got signed like an hour ago but agree
just trying to do my part until the lord saves me 😉
And you got a Warriors flair so if anyone should have the right to post this “for karma” it’s you.
