Not four…

Not six…
Not seven… but eight points scored in a finals game
brutal…
Oof
They held a pep rally where he was so confident he claimed they’d win not one, not two, not three…
Not one, not two, but 8.
How are you so confident LeBron?
We are super duper good, super duper talented and we have a lot of super stars, but let it be known. We are not a super team.
Someone get the graphic of all the HoF he’s played with lmao
While it was happening too. It’s not a retroactive nickname. That’s wild
God damn it, more than 10 years later now i get why it was called the heatles. Fade me.
In my defense, english is not my first language
Is Chalmers Ringo?
No chalmers is yoko. Everyone loved ringo.
No he was Super Nintendo
The Heatles are a fire ass name too
Not 1, not 2, not 3… ok maybe just 2.
They called themselves the Heatles. It’s an amazing nickname.
That’s a term that LeBron introduced to the media btw. So narcissistic.
what is the proper term for when the best guy from each of three different teams combine onto one team?

Not just the best guys from three different teams. The #1, #2, & #4 ranked leaders in PER from the year before they teamed up!
For reference, LeBron turned 26 that first year with the heat. During the 1988-89 season, Jordan turned 26. Like LeBron, he was #1 in PER the year before. If he had teamed up with the #2 & #4 PER players from the before, that team would have had Jordan, Bird & Drexler!!!
This is it. Otherwise Deni Avdija, Brandon Miller and Michael Porter Jr would be called a superteam right now
Jalen Duren was 6th in PER this season. It’s a garbage stat.
Yet when you look at the Top 10 every year it’s a who’s who of the best players to play the game.
But, yes, focus on the one outlier of the hundreds and hundreds of other data points. (He also had a really good regular season by all other metrics by the way.)
Jarrett Allen, Zion Williamson, and Jalen Duren were 3 of the 10 best players this year?
Zubac, Jimmy Butler, and Sabonis last year?
PER is not at all indicative of that and there are extreme outliers every year because it’s terrible.
It’s a garbage stat but everyone who’s a top PER player is absolutely an elite player in the league.
Duran was elite last year too btw despite his struggles in the playoffs.
It’s a garbage stat “now” but is the one stat his fans have utilized his entire career to say he’s better then others.
A mere ménage à trois; nothing more nothing less
I was told “Its Big 3” from OKC fan in 2017. He said if you have just those three guys, its big three, if you have 4-5 other role players that would get meaningful minutes in contending/good teams, you have a superteam.
What about a Big 3 + Jesus Shuttleworth?
Or what about a Big 3 + Jesus?
The word superteam was popularized into mainstream sports culture when LeBron joined DWade and Bosh back in 2010.
LeBron media then tried to retroactively give that word to the Pierce-KG-Allen Celtics, which is ridiculous and not the same thing, but it’s indicative of the shame he has deep down about doing such a cowardly thing.
If that’s the case, LeBron has never played on a super team. Only exclusive big 3s.
This would be the first time he’s played on a team where each starter could be a starter (if not a star) on almost any other team. (He would actually be the weakest link in this comparison, minus Embiid’s health, but that’s not a factor when it comes to whether or not he would be a starter).
In this scenario, we all know LeBron will be the role player. Averaging 8 plus assists. He’s fixing to be the Draymond of the sixers, minus the defense and aggravated assaults
This is ridiculous. The word superteam was practically invented to describe the LeBron-Wade-Bosh Miami Heat.
It’s funny how KD and LeBron cannot admit being on a super team.
“That 73-9 team needed me” kd has jokes
Yeah but you’re not looking at the totality of the franchise, you’re only looking at the one season
That was a good one also
Two legendary players but good god are they daft
They really think they can control the narrative
KD can’t control the narrative but judging by some of the comments here LeBron can. You got people actually arguing that the second stint Cavs with LeBron, Kyrie and KLove aren’t a superteam.
KD can’t control the narrative cuz he’s not on LeBron’s level. If KD’s in GOAT convo, you bet your ass his fanboys will flood the sub with shit like KD was the savior of the Warriors.
Although it never quite got to the point of painting KD as a savior of the Warriors, before 2022 it wasn’t uncommon to see the narrative of “Steph can’t win without KD” being spread around in an attempt to prop up KD. After 2022 chip, that take vanished big time but every once in a while, you will still have KD fans asserting that KD was THE key to 2016-2017 & 2017-2018 Warriors chips
Idk if the pre-Internet players were any better but my god am I glad I didn’t have to hear *the stars* trot out their never-ending ego trips.
Now the role players, hell yes. Keep talking boys.
Players gotta hate the super team tag
Unfortunately, superteams is LeBron’s legacy.
At least admit the Heat or 2nd stint Cavs. He still won one without it in LA. He literally built those two teams himself and even the coach with the Cavs lol and tried to get Spo of all people fired.
Th heat especially was so obviously a super team lol
They had Championship paraphernalia already prepared even before finishing the 2011 finals 😂
They all do that. Anything not awarded is donated to charities in 3rd world countries. Its the reason the Texas rangers where a dynasty in the early 2010s in Uganda
The LA team was still the best supporting cast in the league lol
Other contenders were mostly one MVP level player + a borderline all star while Lebron had a top 5 player in AD and several elite role players
Because of his injuries and also being seen as a bag of peanuts in the Luka trade, people have forgot prime AD was a statistical anomaly.
Lakers too lmao.
They gave LeBron a t3 player in basketball behind Giannis and him along with good supporting pieces.
lebron deadass has such a long career that he can just lie and recency bias covers it up. Also I think 2nd stint at Cleaveland + 3-1 against the warriors helped cover the narrative that he left to ring chase even tho thats 100% what he did.
Thats the problem. It’s not that they were on a superteam whether it was built the “right way” or created the way Lebron does it. It’s the bullshit that comes out of their mouth about it is whats ridiculous and uneccessary.
lol ok maybe not 17 warriors level superteam but the heatles were a super team
Those Kyrie Love Cavs teams he played for were absolutely super teams
The 17 team lost like 1 game on their way to the finals. absolutely a super team.
Plucky overachievers.
Carrying the Most expensive payroll in NBA history at the time. if the warriors dont exist nobody beats that team for years.
We should have had four years of 2015 and 2016 instead of the two we got. Durant ruined the last two
Eh, if you go back and look at it, we actually did get really lucky quite a few times that year. Like the time we drafted Kyrie Irving years prior, or the time we got LeBron James, or the time we got Kevin Love
Yeah, super fun!
They were basically the 1st super team to be formed while all in their prime. Big 3 Celtics were the 1st super team to be formed but KG and Allen were just leaving their prime, which is why they accepted their roles so well. Heat formed to take down the Celtics and they were all in their prime so it just seemed crazy. No one matched that much talent until the 17 Warriors and that really only happened because of a weird bump in the salary cap due to the new CBA. Several teams tried to replicate but the Warriors had the perfect mix of players in their prime while all playing different positions and excelling in their roles
What about the 1980s Celtics were they super teams?
Basketball started in ‘04 when the Pistons upset the Lakers wdym
Amen
Edit: Ausar
Yes and no. They were obviously absolutely stacked, but unrestricted free agency didn’t start in the NBA until 1988, so the Celtics were built more naturally. The ‘08 Celtics had to trade assets to build their Big 3, but the threat of losing KG to free agency was a big reason why the C’s were able to build that team.
The Heatles built a super team together. LeBron can deny it all he wants, but that’s what happened. I also don’t really care that they built a super team. I mean, as a Celtics fan, sure, I cared, but I get it. Who amongst us wouldn’t want to play with friends who are also really good? Back in my 20s when I played in rec leagues we’d try and recruit the good players who were also fun at the bars after to join us the next season. Talent level may be different, but it’s the same basic idea (minus also getting to move to Miami)
We know why they did it. Wade has said they straight up did it because they saw Kobe winning in an interview
Technically, the Heat traded for Lebron and Bosh though I get what you mean.
There is a bit of a difference. When you call a team a “super team”, usually you are taking an already successful team or players and adding a superstar to them.
The 2010 Heat were a 47 win team with a top 5 player in the NBA (Wade). They then added the 2nd best player (LeBron) and a top 20 player (Chris Bosh) to the team.
The closest thing the Celtics added was Dennis Johnson. I suppose you could say Parish in 1980, but the vibe was a bit different back then, as it was not certain how good McHale would be (he was drafted that same year.)
usually you are taking an already successful team or players and adding a superstar to them.
So like adding Dennis Rodman in his prime to a Championship Bulls team?
I’m not one to diss Rodman, but are we really gonna call him a superstar?
KG and Allen were still at the tail end of their prime those first couple of years.
paul pierce shit himself
So have the hornets in every play in game they’ve been in 🤷♂️
Both things can be true.
Most championship teams are super teams. Doesn’t matter if they were formed through draft, trade or FA
Kareem and Magic wasn’t a superteam?
That’s before free agency. That’s why I said “formed”, like actually put together via free agency
Well in that case the big three Celtics don’t apply at all by your logic, KG and Ray Allen were both acquired via trades
Honest question but why were the spurs never considered a superteam? Best PF all time, one of the best 6 man of the year (with no ego could be a starting SG on any time) TP who was a top 10 pg in league at the time, kawhi who still young was still a great two way player, and greatest coach of all time. They weren’t flashy but they were stacked?
cause that was all home grown, if they were brought up in the system it’s different rules
Duncan declined from being an MVP level player as Parker started to peak
Also they were labeled as system players so their individual skills were kind of overlooked
Rondo was an amazing fourth, too
I don’t like having to defend KD after he took the easiest path.
But before him, LeBron took the same path, though not nearly as egregious.
DW had already won a title. PT was among the GOATs for managers and GMs. Joined by CB, who adapted and modified his game.
Still got cooked by Dirk in 2011.
A game away from going out to the Old Ass Celtics in 2012.
Honestly, the difference is LeBron at least acknowledged the bitch move and came back to the Cavs.
Had KD done the same with OKC and won it’d be a remarkably similar legacy.
He had the 17 warriors level team of that era, there had never been anything like it. The Cavs were stacked af too, dude had like 3 3pt contest winners at the same time.
I’d argue that Dwyane Wade is a better player than Pippen and the Heatles were a better team than any team Jordan ever played on. To me they are the second biggest super team after the KD warriors.
Then you would be a moron
72 win Bulls team had 4 hall of famers and a fifth if you count Kerr. Not to mention the best coach ever. They still had Harper and Longley putting valuable minutes in too. The issue with some of the Heatles teams is they lacked the depth that the Bulls teams had.
You sneaky, sneaky, guy.
Trying to sneak in Kukoc as a HOFer. Yes, you are right, but he’s not a HOFer based on his NBA play. He’s far from a HOFer as most would use that term.
Kerr also should 100% not count as a HOFer in regards to a super team. He’s getting in as a coach.
Even Rodman, while still great, was on the downside of his career.
By this logic they had 7 hall of famers on the team with Phil and Krause lol
You must have a weird definition of the word “better” or something.
Your argument is sound. And pippen was my favorite player growing up
The Heatles and the Cavs team with Kyrie and Love were definitely super teams.
So you DIDNT think they were a super team when you said not one not two not three not four? Why the FUCK did you say it then?
To show people the ipromise school works, they know how to count
Dude makes it so hard to like him man
“I dont think ive played for a superteam. I dont believe in that. I believe we’re a super team here.”
Lmao he almost broke out in laughter so he tries to wrap it up.
LeGM has always done his best PR work
LePinocchio
You’re telling me you think he was telling…a fib?!!?
LeBron? Lying?
After he said he almost retired at the end of this season?
LeStandDownHK
He’s delusional about this.
Not delusional, he’s just full of shit.
This was when he was in Cleveland the 2nd time, he might have a different answer now, easy to see why he doesn’t think the Heat were a super team, they lost first year to Dallas and “only” got 2⁄4 rings when it was pretty much being demanded of him to get a 3 peat somewhere. He wasn’t an automatic “top 2 player of all time” back then, plenty of people had KD over him because of the jump shot. Was still probably delusional but obviously this is a bot posting this because of all the talk about LeBron joining another Superteam in Philly
He wasn’t an automatic “top 2 player of all time” back then, plenty of people had KD over him because of the jump shot
Stop it man. Even when KD won the MVP, people thought LeBron was the better player.
He promised 8 championships in Miami. He thought they were a super team. They only won 2 championships, so they were a super team that underachieved.
this was the era when Bron was ultra focused on his legacy
Literally every era LeBron has cared about his legacy lol wtf
Still is. That’s why he’s doing his documentary.
The legacy is pretty much cemented atp. The doc is just showmanship
Now that you mentioned it, I’d be curious to see how he paints the Heatles in it, especially that first 2 years.
Dirk will always be goated for that incredible run and putting a dent to the Heatles’ 2011 parade
We never left that era
This guy collects his farts in a jar
LeFartJar
No wonder his deluded glazers got offended by KD’s recent comments. All makes sense now.
Bron fans need to be grateful to KD, before him superteams were a Bron thing and now they’re a KD thing, or at least a shared KD Bron thing with KD taking more of the heat for them
Not only that, but his superteaming shenanigans has been whitewashed by his stans. Apparently he was doing Wade & Bosh and then Kai & K Love the favours by joining them lol
borderline charity if we’re being honest
No it’s bc KD’s comparison to his departure is laughably different scenarios to Lebron going to Philly at age 42
Wow, does he rehearse these lies ahead of time?
Yeah and I’m not a nephew
Why is everyone so obsessed with downplaying their own teams jfc
Coz GOAT convo against Jordan who never bounced from one super team to another
This is exactly why he has haters.

Lebron and his fans even downplay those heat teams but the damage has been done. people dont forget.
didn’t he predict 6 championships with the Heat?
No, he predicted more.
Absolutely not.
He predicted 8.
Not 1, not 2, not 3, wait actually just 2. You know that’s more than most people get
If he doesn’t believe that, then I believe I have a chance with Sadie Sink
That’s because the Spurs and Mavs spoiled his little speech when he formed the super team
LeBlatantlyUntrueStatement
First KD, now LeBron? What’s with the delulu going around
pure delusion.
Not 5 not 6 not 7
I love you Bron, but come the fuck on, that Heat team was 100% a super team, 3 all stars teaming up, with 2 of them arguably being top 5 players in the NBA.
If that’s not a super team I don’t know what is haha
“Not one, not two, not three… but seven”
You held your own TV special, followed by a fucking concert to announce that you were joining Wade and Bosh and announced you would win 7 titles. You left the team after 4 years.
You then went back to Cleveland and traded their young pieces for Kevin Love, and did the same, with all the picks, in LA for AD. (And then later traded depth pieces to bring in a washed up Russ).
Those teams might not have won a ring without doing that, but you have literally been trying to create superteams every step of the way, prioritising the short term instead of building something long term.
LeDelusional Take
Thank God I can hate him again now he’s not on my team. Jordan >>
Heat - 2 rings Cavs 2.0 - 1 ring
Clear cut super teams in a crap eastern conference
2020 Lakers - very well built team but not super team
Just insufferable
He’s delusional if he truly believes that
This is why LeBron gets hate despite being an unimpeachably all time great
Bron is so corny….
This is almost as dumb as “I’ve heard nothing but great things”
This is what a liar looks like
He might not believe it but it’s true
I wonder who he would have considered a super team, then. His Heat squads featured 2, sometimes 3 other Hall of Fame players (Wade, Bosh, RayRay). Not a lot of teams in the history of the sport that can say that.
This clown not recognizing that he’s an all time great front runner is wild
The power of imagination
He is right. He has played for several not just one.
He’s literally lying look at that fucking face
Lying like always.
LeInsufferable
Love you Bron but you be saying BULLSHIT bro lmao
LABron is on the Mount Rushmore of delusional narcissism
So…he’s a liar?
That how you know LeBron isn’t the greatest of all time. He knows that he has to downplay the teams that he was on in order to compete with MJ’s legacy.
He said that after he made the 1-3 come back, that’s when he thought that he is the greatest of all time.
He teamed up with so many all stars and hof and doesn’t think that he ever was on a super team.
The insecurity is wild.
According to google 7 million people watched the Heatles Big 3 introduction …I don’t think you get that kind of publicity for a non super team.
Heat was the OG superteam. A team of all caliber NBA guys who plotted to join together to win a championship

I think this is aided by his utterly dumbfuck fans who gobble up everything he claims.
I swear to god
Some Lebron Stan tried to claim Kobe was ring chasing like Bron because he wanted to get traded to the bulls to play with LUOL DENG. (Who was averaging 14⁄7 at that point)
The biggest difference between Lebron and MJ, and why history will look much more fondly on MJ, is because MJ is just not as insecure as LeBron. Or KD.
Literally on a super team now with embiid and brown, maxey
Lebron only played on super teams, he is delusional, he is the definition of ring chasing
