Charles was right. Lebron did go to LA as a business decision. I never felt like Lebron cared to be a Laker. It was just a job for him to be a Laker.

Lakers were a mid team when he joined them and they missed the playoffs entirely in his first season with them. They still had good scoring contributions from Ingram (18ppg) & Kuzma (19ppg) but obviously it wasn’t good enough. They went from 35 wins without LeBron the previous season to just 37 wins with LeBron in 2019. Yes, he missed 27 games but even with him they were barely above .500 (28-27).
Nothing Chuck said in that statement was false, in fact he predicted a much better record than they actually ended up with. Just LeBron’s fanbase having a good cry over nothing…..as usual.

The nba is really the only sport I know of that punches down so hard at current players. It’s weird to me that you can’t just appreciate what these amazing athletes do. LeBron James is in his 24th year! Mad respect at what he’s doing and what he’s trying to accomplish.

well the lakers were pretty terrible that first season, so this did look to be correct at first, he was hurt for much of the season.. but when they got AD it all changed, he had what I would consider the best player in the league that season on his team, and lebron was pretty prime too
