Ahead of his time as a stretch big. Would have had a much bigger role if his career started a few years later and didn’t end with injuries. I worked as a breakfast server in a hotel and he came in every day for a big bowl of egg whites and berries. Still have his autograph.

He is an all time losing player. He has a top 10 all time losing percentage among players with minimum 25 mpg in 60 games per season. Yes he could shoot the 3 but was slow and terrible lateral defender and horrific passer. His teams underperformed year after year after year. Every team he played on was terrible except for the end of his career when he rode the bench for the Celtics and Lakers, and neither team wanted him back because he stunk so bad. All time loser and didn’t deserve any award he didn’t win. He is lucky he had a career, he wasn’t ahead of his time because he wouldn’t play ten seconds today. All time losing percentage player award - that’s the award he deserves.
