I’m pretty sure we resigned GP2 as well so we do have our little big man on the roster again.

Gui, Yaxel, and Leons will definitely be getting minutes at the 4 and I wouldn’t be surprised if Leons and Yaxel get minutes at the 5 as well over the season.

That being said, this team is a below .500 team that is begging for one or more of its young players to be significantly better than we think they’re going to be next season in order to somehow be in the top six of the conference.

Third is strong for Moody, though the Warriors don’t really have a solid third best player so I can see the argument.

Some people will say Draymond, but he’s really fallen off over the past couple of years and it genuinely just depends on who they’re playing if he’s able to get up for the game and be that impactful player that he was throughout his career.

It would be porzingis right now, but you never know how much he’s going to play so it’s hard to call him the third best player given his lack of availability.

Melton was just plain bad attempting to play PG without Steph last season. 2.9 apg to 2.1 TO/gm after February when Steph was done for the season.

And it wasn’t just passing, he produced 12.8 ppg on 39%/29%/84% splits 3.6 rpg 1.9 stocks and avgd -3.7

So I keep track of the warriors as my secondary team since my girlfriend is a fan. Half their roster are players that were in the gleague signed to a 2 way contract, some of them were signed to a min this off season and some of them were deep 2nd round draft picks in their 2nd year. No decent player wants to go to the warriors not that they have the cap size either way

The dynasty is over, they’ll struggle to make the playoffs. But they’ll sell out every game and put a an entertaining product on the fooor every night because of Steph. And Steph still wants to retire having worn one jersey because it’s been a first class organization willing to pay roster tax and pay at the highest levels for support staff, facilities and amenities most of his career. This is how this shit works, everything good comes to an end. No moves are still better than awful moves. Just because some idiots within the fanbase or from others thing they should have overpaid in future draft capital for a marginal upgrade doesn’t mean Steph or anyone inside the franchise feels that way.

They missed on the one real difference maker in Giannis. They made 1 really awful draft pick and mediocre to bad one. They missed out on LeBron on a bargain contract. Shit happens. They’ll be fine.

The rebound rate was brought up because he’s just not really adding much anywhere outside of some 3s and some defense. His passing is below average for his position. His rebounding is below average for his position. He’s got bad offensive efficiency. The defense is good, but he’s been hurt so much he’s barely been able to show it.

If he were healthy, I’d get this contract. But he hasn’t been healthy since 2023.
