That June 22nd one is the most egregious one to me. The Warriors had won a championship and just broke the record for most wins in a season but because they weren’t a good franchise in the 70s and 80s Durant thinks he technically joined an underdog.

This is why OKC fans are so vehemently opposed to his jersey being retired here. His exit and the things he said afterwards burned that bridge. Russ is still building the OKC community after he left and has strong ties here. Hes the only player deserving of having his jersey in the rafters outside of SGA.

The 76ers are a superteam, let’s not downplay it. Rich Paul stated that the Heat weren’t a superteam but they were and so were the Cavs when LeBron James joined. The ‘16 Warriors were a bigger superteam than those 3 because they were all in their primes, previously made it to back to back finals, healthy and they were the perfect fit. At this point I don’t mind superteams because after the Heatles everyone wanted to team up

Of course he has. That’s a legacy destroyer for him. He’s got two rings, but is really viewed like someone with zero. You make those two rings happen in OKC instead of golden state and he’s a top ten alltime player. Same number of rings and stats he has now, but no one respects them.
