No. Because in a role like this I could probably work a couple consulting gigs and maybe get a board member position with some organization or company. If you saved up a few millions from your NBA earnings and invested that you can also make serious money from that. So you’d still make likely a million+ a year and are working like ¹⁄₄ as much.
