Nuggets vs Thunder Crazy Ending - Nuggets 4 Point Play and Thunder Game Winner
Cropping this for vertical screens made me seasick
It’s insane that someone can have two mvp’s a ring and a finals mvp within the space of two years and still be underrated
I don’t think he’s really underrated. He’s just disliked. Under-appreciated maybe - the narrative around him has broken people’s ability to recognise how smooth and entertaining his playstyle is
I think he’s underrated because there’s still a very large contingent of NBA fans who’d say Luka’s better than him despite nothing but counting raw PRA pointing to that, like if the roles were reversed and Luka had Shai’s achievements no one would even entertain Luka being the inferior player
The amount people hate him definitely has him underrated. People say the craziest stuff about him
How so? I would say the general consensus on Shai is that he’s an incredible player who would be a perennial MVP candidate without all the foul baiting bullshit.
Because of all the foul baiting, he just sucks to watch. I know he’s your guy, so it’s a tough pill to swallow, but the reaction to him is so universal because it’s just true.
Yeah this is exactly what I mean when I say the narrative has broken (some) people’s ability to see him clearly.
the reaction to him is so universal because it’s just true.
Why does everyone who dislikes OKC say stuff like this. During the playoffs you kept seeing people on here saying stuff like: “oh it’s just a coincidence that 29 other fanbases hate you”, despite the fact that loads of fans from opposing teams were saying how much they enjoyed watching how connected we were playing defense, or Shai’s midrange and driving game.
Confirmation bias spiralled out of control. When you see more clips of fouls and compilations of reffing decisions than highlights from the game, it’ll affect the way you watch the game.

No, you don’t get it. He said exactly what he meant to say
He’d be a perennial MVP candidate even without all the foul baiting. The foul baiting just pads the stats even more
No, I said what I meant to say. If he stopped foul baiting his scoring and efficiency would come down. There’s no question about it.
However, he’s good enough that he doesn’t need it to be an MVP.
In no way is he “underrated”
Virtually everyone lists him as a top 1-3 player. His game is just unlikeable
bc hes canadian bruh
The moment SGA won his 2nd straight MVP
They were always giving it to him lmao
Hit it over Thunder legend Spencer Jones
I’m still sick that the Spencer Jones era is over. I wish I had appreciated it more.
That shot by SGA was so smooth.
What makes it even crazier is that sga also hit a stepback 3 on Christian Braun less than 10s before the start of this video
Yeah back it up a little more and it’s even crazier
You can read about this moment on Spencer Jones’ LinkedIn
That was a good defense and SGA still can make it.
The Jaylin Williams legacy game that almost became the Jaylin Williams “Legacy™” game.
What does that mean
He had the best game of his career that game but almost lost them the game by fouling Jokic for the 4pt play. SGA bailed him out with the game winner and he said as much in the locker room after the game.
he knew he won the MVP after that. threw the 2 right up
Lot of speculation on that ✌️. Was it 2 for his #, back ta back MVP, or ☮️?
2 for 2 3’s, he hit two crazy ones, there was another before the video started over CBraun lol
Not an SGA fan, but man that was so clutch
OKC was 19-47 from three in that game, taking just under half of their FGAs from three. No JDub, IHart, Chet, or Caruso, no problem as SGA scored 35 on 67/43/100% splits
