I’ve always said that I can understand people when they say Jordan is 1. I can also understand people when they say LeBron is 1. But if those 2 aren’t your starting 2 in whichever order you prefer, you’re just wrong.
A lot of people who were alive for it would say Wilt, and I’m not sure how you could just dismissively say if they think the guy who owns half the record book is the best they’re wrong.
Not saying that’s my pick, I just think that’s a bit of a biased point of view. Same for Russell who is the most successful NBA player ever. Same for Kareem who is the best winner on every level of the sport.
