I think they’ll start off relatively cheap. Centers historically don’t really move high numbers so I don’t think they’d want to price too many people out to begin with.

I also feel like Nike usually starts the newer signature models on the lower end between \(115-\)130, and then start to slowly creep up in price like Giannis’s shoes between like \(140-\)160.

Then the lines with more longevity get bumped up to “premium” prices like Kobe’s, LeBron’s and KDs in the high $100s with the introduction of a separate budget line.

Personally I’ve also enjoyed playing in the “budget” lines like Kyrie, Paul George, and Sabrina’s more than the premium stuff

First signature shoes for Nike athletes are typically affordable

Booker and SGA with Converse have been the exceptions, but everything else feels really uninspired

Hasn’t the resale market crashed in the last year or two? Resale has also never been a problem for regular signature lines aside from limited colorways.

Considering his game is similar to KD and will likely design a similar shoe they should sell fine. KDs did gangbusters.

Adidas are much better on the foot for me, although for running I usually wear Saucony or Brooks. Nikes have always been narrow, the only Nike’s that were ever wide enough for me are/were hyperdunks.

They’re extremely comfortable shoes, so are the Cut 3s that Dylan Harper’s PEs are coming out in. Spoiled as a Spurs/Sneaker fan this past year.

There’s almost no “big men” shoes on the market. Even the Joker line is “multi role”, low to the ground and good for guards. The only relevant big men who wear chunky shoes are KAT (Nike GT Jump 2) and Wemby (Nike GT hustle 3).
