Steph Curry look-away shots but they get increasingly colder
Having an 8 minute highlight reel of just this is absurd. I knew he did it sometimes but not to this extent. Insane
I know..against players and teams who are totally focused on just him and his shooting ability. I couldn’t do it by myself shooting around
FTA could never
He still amazes me to this day
I’d take him first overall right now if I knew he was going to be healthy all year
One of the most demoralizing shots in nba history
I wan to see a look away shots compilation where they all miss (Nick Young, etc)
not an exact match but close: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccUbXum1kT4
yeah that would be a brutal cold streak compilation for sure
This is a real, serious question. Has he ever turned around when he missed?
As in has he ever Nick Young’ed it lol
this mf’er don’t miss
When you have fired up the amount of deep shots he has in practice and games you definitely know when its going in the second it leaves your hands or at the very least know when it’s gonna swish. I am by no means even a slightly competent basketball player but have still had moments outside the arc where the release just feels right and then it goes in. I’m not good enough to repeat that feeling the way he does obviously but he probably has that feeling too…. probably a lot to the point that if he’s feeling like showing off/taunting he’ll decide to turn around when he knows its good (which just happens to be way sooner than anyone else watching).
No
If he has any doubt he just doesn’t look away.
The one where Javale screams in his ear and Curry stares him down while the shot is falling was the most cold blooded thing Ive ever seen someone pull on a basketball court.
There are people (still) who don’t agree that Steph is the greatest shooter in NBA history
Who could possibly feel that way?
Right? It’s wild just how many nephew takes are in this sub 🤦🏽♂️
or that he’s not responsible for changing the game
It’s so ridiculous.
Am I the only person who gets annoyed by the “(nouns) but they get increasingly more (adjective)” highlight video title format?
Same, it feels so official league account trying to be hip
It’s so stupid. The part that always gets me is the “but” in the title.
What was the expectation?
This news reporter really did change the game although I did not realize it at the time
https://youtu.be/K1Y6PchDYfw
Did he ever miss any of these look-away shots??
There’s one in the video where he doesn’t turn around on the first attempt and gets his own rebound and makes the second attempt while doing the look-away. He could definitely FEEL it right as it left his hands if it was going in
I love the freeze frame at 4:56. It’s the only one where Curry goes to look at a person and finds that the other guy is looking back. Luke Walton keeps his eyes on Curry the whole time. So everyone else in the frame is watching the ball in the air, but Walton and Curry are looking at each other, sharing a little moment. Hilarious.
my goat
Will never get tired of watching this man shoot the basketball.
HS coaches losing their minds that a shooter didn’t follow his shot
“Just getting back on D, coach,” I’d say.
“Get back on D bench,” I’d hear.
At a certain point an open curry 3 should have the whole team running back on defence as soon as it leaves his hand. Be cold af if nobody on the team watched it go in lol
Why do people say “but” in these titles? Was there some expectation they wouldn’t get colder as they went?
I’m not trying to be snarky, I honestly don’t understand why they’re titled this way. Unless the standard is that videos get more boring as they go, there’s no reason to say “but.”
“Steph curry look away shots that get increasingly cold blooded” isn’t a less clickable title. It doesn’t matter, but I legitimately don’t understand why people do this weird, unnecessary nonsense.
