My take requires some wishful thinking on the Tyrese Haliburton health side of things but imo everyone is sleeping on the Pacers acquisition of Zubac and if Haliburton can return anywhere close to his previous form I think Zubac will outperform expectations.
I think Zubac will have a season reminiscent of his 24-25 season with the Clippers.

Zubac only has a chance to be an All-Star if Haliburton comes back 100%, guns a blazin’. If not, Id find it hard to believe Zubac racks up enough production to be considered for the spot, in which case Siakam probably fills the void and gets the nod.

The team hates their regular white / navy jerseys. 2025 playoffs they wore the city jerseys round 1⁄2. Then the nba said they couldn’t wear city jerseys so they swapped to the yellows and wore them every game for the ecf and finals. So actually 13 straight games for the yellow jersey I believe.
Edit: they also wore the yellow in game 5 vs Cleveland so at least 14 straight playoff games they wore the yellow. Either way they only wore 2 jerseys for the 25 run and neither was their “standard” jersey
Wearing the yellow in the playoffs is a franchise tradition though. They always pull out the “blue collar gold swagger” slogan and we wear yellow. I can’t remember the last time we wore regular navy/white in the playoffs outside of City jerseys.

If a team hates their jerseys that much it’s a sign they probably just need to rebrand. And this feels like a soft rebrand.

Same here. It just seems so random now, and I have trouble finding out which team is the home team when I tune into a random game. Thankfully my team (the Bulls) mostly wears their white jerseys at home.

I assume because of the teams that were left there were no conflicting colors and they were just allowed to do it. The NBA only wants you to use your core jerseys for the Conference Finals and beyond.

Its funny how 90s jerseys are considered iconic these days, a lot of fans fucking hated them at the time and celebrated when they were replaced by less flashy jerseys in the 2000s
Early 2000s aesthetics were garbage. A bunch of designers/fans watched The Matrix and decided that every uniform needed to be black, regardless of the team’s identity. 90s maintained the image that had been cultivated in the 60s and 70s: sports are fun and they should be fun.
A lot of it is just nostalgia, like anything in fashion. What was old becomes new and fashionable again.
Early 90s vs late 90s is also an important distinction. Late 90s had jersey and logo designs like the Sonics, Pistons, Rockets going overly cartoony. And the Jazz to a lesser extent. Maybe others.

I would be completely fine with that being the standard Pacers jersey template. Just like how the Celtics, Bulls, Lakers etc rarely deviate from their designs. At least for the standard jerseys.
these are nice but unfortunately it comes at a price of their flojo jerseys which are now gone from their main rotation. i feel like the flojo design is more true to indiana especially as of late when haliburton was going on his run that year. pinstripes i feel like everyone kinda already does.

Indiana has never really had a bad uniform, except for their INDY graffiti jerseys they’ve had the last few years. Bringing these back reminds me of my childhood.

While it’s nice they modernized the pinstripes, the “bad” thing about the change is they did it to their best jersey in the set prior which were the gold flo-jos.
I just hope they change up their jerseys for 2027 and incorporate the flo-jos back because the white and navy ones are that bad no wonder they always go with the golds every chance they can.
