Joel needs to lose as much weight as possible. If he would play like he did in college, this team would win the championship. 

Obviously, impossibe to be as fast as then, but just really focus on mobility, insead of strength. Lighter body would do wonders for his knees too.

Nurse played him big minutes and rode him from Christmas until the beginning of February when he as usual broke down. I just don’t understand the minutes. Theirs a few 40 plus minute games in that stretch that are so unnecessary during the regular season that Nurse must be a little dim. Wtf is he thinking? Unless he does a way better job of managing minutes, Embiid and sixers are doomed.

It’s getting to the point where everything seems so over-the-top amazing right now for the Sixers that the only way this logically ends is in a nuclear holocaust with Iran.

I remember a game against the bulls last year he came out looking like he wanted to retire that night, the body language was terrible. And then he proceeded to put up 35/6/7

He’s a mystery of a player and when I saw him live a few years ago he was the most physically impressive player i’ve ever seen in person

He said himself last summer that he’ll never play a back to back again. I could see him averaging 25 points a night in 60 games this year or having a scattering of 30 point nights amid a mostly injured season like last year. I feel like having bron there will motivate him and I’m leaning more towards him playing about 60 games especially if bron can lend him some of his recovery process

I think it’s actually plausible that he genuinely is healthy. He was recovering and starting to get back in the swing of it just before the appendix went. He didn’t get any playoff injury for once and for the first time I can remember actually has an off-season to get his body right

Gansey called Joel after Joel got off the phone with LeBron during their summer recruitment and Joel told gansey that he told LeBron he was healthy but he didn’t get a feel for what LeBron was going to do.

It will never sit right with me the way people so gleefully predict future injuries for him. Yeah, he’s been hurt a lot and he plays recklessly. Any honest basketball fan can appreciate his greatness when he’s healthy, and we should all want him to be on the court.

I understand that people hate him because he talks shit and he baits fouls (like everyone else in the league) but the amount of people cheering for him to get injured again is pretty gross
