- bungled this Kawhi situation so egregiously badly
- somehow the Bucks saw all this Kawhi stuff going down and STILL decided it was worth it to pay Trent Jr. in clear cap circumvention.

If there was clear cut evidence, the investigation would have ended months ago.

There’s probably a ton of circumstantial evidence where it’s reasonable to conclude that the Clippers/Kawhi engaged in circumventing the cap. But, without hard proof, the Clippers/Kawhi will dispute it.

I mean obviously the Clippers will lie and dispute the findings, regardless of the facts.

There’s no downside to doing that, except legal fees, which they are happy to pay.
