When I was a kid in the 90s the Bulls played here in Memphis against like Washington. Which makes little sense but was cool.
I think it’s because the two teams currently have an unfinalized trade and lots of drama and yet they’re meeting rather quickly to play a match. Not that it is crazy to be playing a preseason game in a new city.

It actually makes a lot of sense because preseason games are negotiated between teams rather than assigned by the league, and Clippers and Raptors have obviously been talking to each other a lot this summer.,
Well, if nothing else, it will serve as a reminder that the NBA allowed not one but two teams to be removed from the Pacific Northwest, and it would be an absolute shame to allow the third and only remaining PNW team to be removed.

I watched Kawhi’s very first game for the Raptors in pre-season in Vancouver 7 years ago! I will watch Kawhi play for the Raptors again in Vancouver this October.
