[Highlight] Embiid with the nasty chasedown block (goaltend) on LeBron.
We are now at the goaltending highlights stage of the offseason
new pregnant ant edwards side piece coming out any day now
We had that during the playoffs too.
A lot of those Wemby block highlights were goaltends.
Holy shit this is a Rookie Embiid highlight
I remember in early 2017 (Jan-Feb) when the 76ers a .500+ record and everyone was like “omg holy fuck” lmao
Ngl I remember that magical January/February, when Joel Embiid finally broke out, was healthy and it was clear we finally found our #1 option after 3 years of drafting busts, almost felt as good as signing LeBron
Never in my wildest dreams back then did I expect him to reach an MVP level
Remove that disgusting flair or I’ll remove it for you dingus
This is the absolute best part about having this flair lmao
You’re welcome to be a Sixers fan! Lots of other JB exiles have come
I just threw up a little bit
Fuck Boston!
January 2017 was life changing as a sixers fan. Their first month with a winning record post-process if I remember correctly
Indeed it was, that’s the only reason I remember it lol
Look at the jerseys without Nike swooshes and ads… good times
Joel can’t move that like that anymore
That was goaltending
Rule of cool.
Back when Embiid could move.
I miss those knees
As a Knicks fan, I sure don’t miss them.
Rule of cool because massive goaltending but don’t care. God Embiid was so good defensively back before his knees got destroyed.
I remember these times well because tbh none of us were sure Embiid would ever really pan out. He was obviously fantastically talented but it looked like he might be a “what-if” with those early injuries.
And then he started playing and it immediately was obvious he was going to be one of the special centers to ever play.
I have a conspiracy theory that the reason Embiid gets so much hate from the media is bc at that point in time, a lot of talking heads doubled down on calling him a bust, then walked it back once he started playing, then walked THAT back after he got hurt his rookie season. There’s obviously a lot more at play but I think that era and those times you’re talking about were the impetus of Embiid’s current league wide reputation.
Who is Rodriguez?
Sergio. He played in Spain for a while, won euroleage MVP, came back to the NBA to play a year for the sixers and was ok
This was probably right before i started really following the sixers
Damn Embiid looks young af
Nasty goaltend lol
He looks so healthy, man. Imagine if current Embiid has this body.
Young embiid looks like an AI version of embiid now 😂
Surprised he didn’t fall down
