I find this “Lebron living in NYC” particularly funny given the NYC-Philly basketball rivalry, and what just happened in the postseason too.

Knicks fans completely took over the Sixers’ arena during the damn playoffs… which I imagine Sixers fans felt some type of way about… and now Lebron’s dipping out to NYC too?? Damn lol 😭

Obviously it’s not that deep and Lebron wanting to live in NYC makes total sense; but it’s just funny.

When you’re rich, you don’t decide to live in Philly. It’s not one of those cities.

My brother in law has had multiple family members die in helicopter crashes. I understand that accidents happen, but the Kobe incident is enough to convince me to never get in a helicopter.

You are not uneducated. I know military pilots and helicopter parts suppliers (different people) that will not get on a civilian helicopter. I will not frequently either. And I encourage others not to.

It’s gonna intriguing to be honest. As someone who’s lived in Philly for nearly a decade, it doesn’t really have a spot that’s your quintessential “rich, lavish” neighborhood. There are parts much further out in the PA side of Philly that’s fine and suburbs across the Ben Franklin in NJ that are fine but honestly Philly is a relatively dense city without that kinda vibe. I lived there when I was younger and loved the walkability, relative cheap good quality food and relatively affordable city living.

Theres that Ritz near City Hall where I think Ben Simmons had a residence but honestly can’t think of an area where it would be a nice fit for a guy like LeBron.
