I’m a Chicagoan living in OKC. I know what he means. But… It’s a good city. There is fantastic food. A great beer & Cocktail scene. It’s just small!

In Chicago, your neighborhood shit bar had incredible late night food. Bc if they didn’t, someone else would. OKC isn’t like that. But, people with world class culinary and bar experience are moving in bc either they’re from there originally or found the land value to be too good.

It’s so wrong tho lol it might not have as much to do as other big city’s but OKC is great. Oklahoma also has some of the best weed in the world, so perfect for someone that wants to stay in.

I know it’s a meme, but OKC has grown pretty exponentially in the last 20 years. It’s crazy how different the downtown area is now. People talk about how there’s nothing to do now, but truly, back then there was LITERALLY nothing to do. No one was coming to the downtown area. It’s still not up to like the average NBA city now, but it’s progressively gotten more and more active. It’s gonna be cool to see what it looks like in another 20!

Yeah I kinda love that people have no idea how nice OKC CAN be, but also I feel the need to defend it in the comments. We really should just keep it a secret.
