The Asian Olympic basketball team’s performance isn’t really relevant. Only shooting 3 pointers is very different than playing a game of basketball. I’d be a little surprised if there weren’t several people better than Curry at simply shooting 3 pointers in an empty gym because he’s very intentionally not optimized for that.

The trick for these games is to play when both hoops are open, and take all the basketballs to one hoop, so you can shoot faster without needing to wait for reloading. Get as many shots up as you can, and of course keep aim on point. The record holder at this shoots one shot per hand, one after another, in rapid succession. Watching the best shows you how to improve
