Do not do a significant respec without a decent amount of gold saved ideally double whatever your respec cost you

damage isnt always better, plenty times where I’d obviously take more damage then just dying to everything over and over. Survivability is massive and it changes the game, just take the extra evasion/ES/armour, dont greed on it. It helps ALOT

Check the specific stats lines on a unique you want to sell. Depending on the rolls, if it corrupted or not etc, value can change a lot.  

Weapon stats are the base off which everything else scales. A bow or quarterstaff with 10% crit chance will cause you to crit TWICE as often as a bow with 5% crit chance. This is HUGE.

Conrast this with crit from passive nodes or jewels. A jewel with 10% crit chance will only cause you to crit 5% more often than a jewel with 5% crit chance. This is MINISCULE.

Moral of the story is to prioritize your spending on your weapon stats - no amount of expensive jewels, rings, gloves, or amulets can make up for a bad weapon because they all scale off your weapon.

lol well at least they weren’t wasted! You got to use them.

always check level of items you want to craft on

Some support gems on persistent buffs like the Herald skills add to spirit cost.

This may not seem like much in the campaign, and you may not even notice it, but once you’re in endgame, you’re going to have to compute your spirit based on your gear to tweak your build.

Everything in the market is ran by bots. Crafting your own stuff is generally better until end game.

Do not drop the depleted mana rune. Always pick global defences as quest reward.

Rush straight to arbiter when you get to maps. Atlas points are stronger than league mechanic points.

If you buy 3 divinity fights you get the full atlas passives filled saving a ton of time, and adding a ton of juice to your maps.

When selling on the market, always check the currency

Your skills cap at lvl 40.

So if you have a runeseekers and can get your skill to lvl 40 - a prism of belief does nothing

Don’t sleep on resists!

Max your resists (at least elemental) before you focus on other defence pools.

And don’t get too married to your items in early game.

Always make sure you have the most effective items available to you equipped.

Learn the difference between increased and more….. Same with reduced and less.

Campaign quest rewards are permanent, choose wisely (tho I believe ggg is working to make them switchable, hopefully for 1.0)

Use a loot filter from the start. It’ll help you recognize valuable drops
