The Red Sox’s lineup the last time they won 15 games in a row
Is Dom DiMaggio the Seth Curry to Joe DiMaggio’s Steph Curry?
33.5 Career WAR 7x All star 111 OPS+
Also missed three years with millitary service. Hall of very good.
He was nicknamed the little professor.
The adjunct
Reading about him, he seems like a great guy. Actually founded the Boston Patriots and was a successful business man. Great player, just not Joe.
So the TJ Watt to Joe’s JJ Watt
Dom was actually very good
Vince is actually the Seth lol
Although even then he’s still a 2x all star and has 17.3 career WAR, so he had a pretty solid career as well
Dom actually had a really good career. 7xall star and 33.5 career war
Thanks for all the replies, I apologize to Dom DiMaggio I was unfamiliar with his game I see
Not quite. More like a Nique and Gerald Wilkins? Dom was 7x all star and pretty good player.

WS2004 Gm2: DiMaggio, Doerr and Pesky’s first pitch

I’ve got my Doerr baseball on the shelf watching this streak!
Johnny Pesky is a good baseball name.
I think they should name a foul pole in his honor
I hear Johnny was a puts on sunglasses real Pesky hitter.
oh where’d you go, dom dimaggio
A nation turns its lonely eyes to bRef to see if you were any good
Dom dimaggio the best baseball player in the family lmao

Joe, Ted, and Dom
Reading wiki:
In 1953, Dom co-founded American Latex Fibre Corporation and later launched Dom DiMaggio Inc., manufacturing foam padding and carpeting for the automotive and furniture industries, which eventually grew into the Delaware Valley Corporation.
Dom DiMaggio joined a group of nine other New Englanders, led by Billy Sullivan, to found and capitalize a Boston American football team that debuted in 1960 as the AFL’s Boston Patriots.
In July 1976, DiMaggio was a part of a group which included his brother Joe and some others to buy the Red Sox. The deal fell through and Jean Yawkey and her trust held onto it until FSG came along.
He can have baseball, Joe got Marilyn Monroe
I’ll take baseball any day over that neurotic mess.

I’m just pissed we still haven’t figured out how to unfreeze and reanimate Teddy Ballgame so he could be undead to witness history
I spy the greatest left fielder in MLB history and John Glenn’s wingman wrapped in the same person
Love this! Here is the boxscore for that game (May 10, 1946):

I see the comments about Dom DiMaggio – this game had both Joe and Dom in it and Joe hit a homer and Dom went 2-5 with an RBI in the win.
Damn I see you Red Sox!!! Honestly excited for the Cubs-Red Sox series - thats our last series of the season, to be played in Boston.
Call me skeptical, and pleasantly surprised, but I don’t think the 2026 team is as good.
Boy, that Ted Williams shows real promise. I hope he pans out.
Ted Williams? Fine hitter, but he’s no Caleb Durbin
Don DiMaggio wrote a good book
How? That’s not much of a supporting cast around Ted. I guess he had to do it all himself…
Two hole hitter has a foul pole named after him, does Ted Williams? 🧐🧐🧐
What a bum, only a street after him -Ted Williams Way.
i miss pitchers hitting :(
Psh, Williams was playing against milkmen and commie spies
