Amanamu modifier in Atlas then: Number of Abyss > Number of rare monster > Monster Rarity > Chance of abyssal modifier > Item Rarity > Effectiveness (unsure between those last two)
I have issues with the Amanamu mobs with twister it just kills them in the void like I’m standing there. Never looked into it but I had a similar experience last league with spearfield.
Yeah that’s my main problem with abyss farming. It’s a pain in the ass to draw them out without killing then too quickly. I just get such more straightforward and consistent returns from Breach
I lowered my DPS a bit and added knockback support to my build just to hit the fuckers out of the clouds. It’s such a dumb mechanic.
just spawn kill them. sit on top of the pit and spam whatever your main skill is, then they won’t get a chance to use their smoke cloud.
What do you spec In the Genesis tree to get your profit? How about your atlas tree and tablets? I want to do breach but I feel like I’m too poor for it. You have tablets options?
I just do pure catalyst currency, all nodes that give chance for extra drops. Run extra rare monsters from breaches and increased hiveblood on tabs, with one unique breach tab. Run city maps at 200 deli and it absolutely prints. Good amount of raw divs and other currency from the breaches themselves, and then sell the catalysts, the most expensive of which sell for a good amount. You also occasionally get a big hit on a breach ring or belt with minion skills cause it does still drop non-currency wombgifts. It’s a great strat, simple, quick, not crazy difficult. Expedition is better for sure, but some of those fully juiced expedition monsters get insane and dying can completely tank your profits cause you only get so many expeditions per logbook
Yeah, I actually decreased my skill effect duration significantly to have more control over this and avoid killing them by mistake. My twisters used to go for 7+ seconds, now around 4. Doesn’t really change much in general clear speed at my dps.
Number of abyss doesn’t really matter in my opinion if you are just flying through maps. You’ll get more chances of drops per map but that just means you are also spending more time per map. In that case its better to focus on mods that increase your odds of drop per abyss. Also monster effectiveness increases quantity of items dropped and Amanamu always drop one Omen so quantity shouldn’t be a mod of much concern.
Fair, and I think number of abyss is more expensive anyway so maybe worth ignoring.
If you got the right tablets you should get one every 2-3 maps at least. I had a map where I got 3 of them (2 in abyssal depths, which i think has a better chance of dropping omen of light)
what are the right tablets? i craft my maps with monster and item rarity, then in my tablets i have pack size, item rarity, abyssal modifier and rare monsters.
I usually run city maps with a combination of abyssal modifiers, 2 additional rares (limit to 1 tablet), chance for 4 extra abyss, rare monster, and abyssal depths. 2 of each should be good.
I’ve gotten 1 in 3 weeks of abyss. I never see them make black cloud so I’m not sure the problem

Or straight up switch off Abyss. I’ve farmed Abyss most league with good success but now I’m stuck in the “kill too fast” loop where it has frankly become unviable. When I had less than a fifth of the DPS my yield per hour was far far better.
That’s the point, it was weird. Usually when I needed light I ran 2-3 good abyss maps and got one, this time it felt like all the RNG stacked on the Perfect Exalts. And in SSF the strategy is usually to use what you got in the end.
Oh Hh in SsF is so luxury! Gg! I like HH for mapping and MB for slower content like grand expeditions and bossing
Why that way? I’m the opposite, HH helps me stay super tanky for the juiced expedition mobs where I don’t need that tankiness in mapping

Was crafting a new talisman and needed a few bases (probably, because of fracture failings), so i had 2 bases ilvl 82 set up with 30% quality.
I Perfect augmented both back to back. They both rolled Dictator’s..which is rare enough in itself. But the rolls, both the %phys and the +accuracy, where the exact same rolls.
When i steal a monsters power, I can no longer tell when it is my power vs monsters. I end up dodging my own power. Just me?
Haha, that was me in the first map with HH, suddenly blue manadrain pools everywhere, RUN!
First thing hh did to me in hc is to teleport me into the slam combo of a map boss. I survived, but have been a lot more cautions since then.

It’s just a homebrew, pretty basic MA with ton of Bells and Gathering Storm for flavour.
Headhunter allows me to change map tuning from pure rarity to monster rarity and effectiveness. Then I can sell the rarity maps for lots while I get maps populated entirely by rares. Which then make me even stronger… I might hold 20 stacks on a rarity map but closer to 50 on an m rarity. Then I do boss killer and speed abyss clearing. Poisonburst arrow/ fart blast pathfinder
I use my HH for general mapping/farming..i use my ingenuity for pinnacles..still havent done the 2nd arbiter 🙄

In 0.4 I got a headhunter on the 1 single key I used. That league HH was like 20 divs though so it felt bittersweet.
Earlier in the league I used a HH to farm high/giga-juice content. For me it was 200% deli abyss and sometimes breach. As I settled in and eventually got a mb, I fully switched over and do less juiced, more chill grinds now. I still run 200% deli abyss but I don’t use super expensive tablets anymore
Keep in mind though, for me specifically, my build doesn’t have the greatest defences aside from offence (lol). So without the hh buffs I’m much less tanky
Imho, at the end of the day, it’s more what you enjoy over anything else. I just prefer the extra ms with my mb over giga juicing content with the hh
For me it’s:
HH for almost all content. MB for bossing or omen of light farming.
I would love to know how many of these there are in existence this league or on average per league.

I’m still mad at myself not reading it, this was like at 2am and the drop itself took my focus and went to bed right after…
My best RNG was the start of 0.4. I chanced a HH within 8 Chance Orbs and then used 1 Reliquary Key for a shiny HH lol. That was within the first week of League launch and funded the start of my BM Spark
I swapped my HH for MB for a lot more tanky (2k evasion with jade) and more item rarity. I do miss shroud walker though, unlike others. I tweaked my build to make it work and I loved teleporting into a giant mob of enemies.
Yeah, currently don’t really care to adjust my gear for HH and already have a solid MB (Silver, Diamond, Stibnite, Bismuth), but will probably use HH occasionally for funsies.
Honestly I didn’t really notice any damage drop from MB over HH. If anything it got me more damage because I could sacrifice defenses for it, and with how strong jade is, I came out with more of both.
Also I have a dream to one day run Trinity. Pretty sure HH would mess with that as you collect random buffs.
