Please GGG fix the memory leak and shader issues many players including myself get their entire ram taken up while playing this game (32gb, 64gb 128gb does not matter if you have this issue). The performance is nowhere near ready for full release and free to play players will review bomb if it releases as unoptimized as it is with a memory leak and 100gb+ shader folders. I love the game and have jumped through hoops like unlocking my shader cache and installing third party memory cleanup software just to be able to play. Please please please make a patch dedicated to performance and not adding more things when the game is in such an unoptimized state.

Sorry for rant this has been bothering me and I have seen 0 acknowledgment (on the ram issue) from my beloved GGG.

There is a post floating somewhere of an Nvidia engineer asking for input and logs to diagnose the problem.

They’ve sent physical hardware to Nvidia for testing. Now I get it’s frustrating and I agree that its something that needs to be addressed before 1.0 but to say “0 acknowledgement” is just not true

They have said multiple times in interviews that it’s an nVidia driver issue and have been providing nVidia with all the information they have. Stop blaming GGG for something they have 0 control over, the AI only company is the one to blame. I have 1300 hours on AMD with 0 crashing, this doesn’t mean everyone will have the same results but does show that their engine can be proven to run stable

I know they exist, that’s why I also said it’s not a perfect example but stability is achievable, sometimes it’s just finding the right settings. I run all settings on high at 4k and am lucky that it works flawlessly

I agree this should be a priority it’s crazy how a lot of people with juiced pcs to mid tier pcs are crashing n lagging like crazy. I purposely play low clutter builds to avoid this and I still crash constantly. Not just me but everyone in my friend group crashes as well

Yeah no its bad even on shit like 9070xt, cause how the fuck can I play warframe at 1440p high settings no upscaling and still hold 130 fps no matter how many effects n crazy shit is happening and/or dropping on the ground and with me having TO INJECT FSR4 with optiscaler because upscaling looks BAD on AMD if it’s not FSR4, especially at 1440p… only to drop from 140-160 to 50 fps when clearing on my blood mage crossbow build with the lightning fragment skill.

Not to mention that warframe just looks objectively much better at the same settings.

To be fair, the Warframe team had Steve on it for literally half a decade and that man was obsessed with optimization. Hell, he even made proto ray-tracing back before it was everywhere.

Also they routinely optimize the shit out of their game.

Its so bad man. Wife and I co-op and almost ¹⁄₂ maps insta crash and ruins whatever we were doing atm. Vulkan takes forever to load. Worked well back in 0.2 but now it’s just horrible.

Word, I never had crashing issues, the game leaked my memory I’m assuming via the shader stuff and throttled me to max memory usage from startup-as long as the game was open. Nvidias new driver solved that issue.
